On Horizon Down World, martial artists could train through two main methods. The first, and more common, method involved embedding the martial technique directly into a person's mind through advanced technology. Once implanted, the martial artist would naturally be able to use it. This was how most techniques, like those taught at Sky Martial Court or the Fivefold Thunderclap Anos received from the System, were transferred.

The second method, however, was more traditional. It involved studying and practicing the technique like reading a manual. Once fully understood, the martial artist would be able to perform the technique. While the first method was quicker and easier, the second method provided a stronger foundation. For example, if a technique were implanted, its damage output would increase by 100%. But if it were learned and mastered from the ground up, that increase would rise to 150%. Because of its depth and rigor, the second method was rare, and more people preferred the first method for convenience. Only martial arts passed down through families were typically cultivated with the second method.

Evan took a sip from the cup Nora handed him and smiled. "I heard from Little Zoey that you specialize in lightning techniques, so I had an old friend of mine fetch this for you."

Anos flipped through the pages casually, but his hand stilled when he reached the next section. His expression faltered, and he froze.

The technique was called [Heavenly Thunder Flash], and its ranking was... Earth Tier Five Stars!

Evan chuckled warmly. "Compared to Zoey and everyone's lives, this is nothing. Don't hesitate—take it."

"Hahaha…" Evan chuckled after Anos accepted the martial arts book. He looked at him and said, "From now on, you're a member of the Iron Reavers Mercenary Group. We're all family here, so don't hold back. If there's anything you need, let us know. If I can help, I'll do my best."

"Mm, thank you, Elder Evan," Anos replied.

"I heard you and Little Zoey are planning to fight?" Evan asked with a knowing smile.

Anos nodded. "Yes, that's the plan."

"Perfect timing," Evan said. "I've already arranged for a battle stage. I'll watch the two of you fight, and you can give Little Zoey some pointers while you're at it."

"Grandpa! What do you mean by 'giving me pointers'? I should be the one teaching him!" Zoey protested, looking indignantly at Evan.

"Hahaha… Well, in that case, Anos, you can show Zoey how it's done," Evan said, his tone full of amusement.

"Alright!" Anos stood up, finishing his coffee in one swift motion. Zoey quickly followed suit, taking a big gulp herself—she wasn't about to be outdone.

"Let's go," Evan said, leading the way.

The trio left the Cabin, and Evan seemed eager to see how Anos would fare. It was clear he had his own plans in mind.

The battle stage was located inside the Hunter's Guild, on the 23rd floor. The entire floor had been transformed into a large arena, surrounded by spectators. Because of the battle taking place, the 23rd floor was currently empty, with only a few people passing through to the higher levels. However, those upper floors were off-limits to the general public.

"I heard the Hunter's Guild requires special clearance to access the 15th floor and above?" Anos remarked, his surprise evident.

Evan chuckled. "Yes. I'm friends with the people here, so it's not a problem for me to borrow the arena temporarily."

"I see…" Anos was still a bit skeptical, but he kept his thoughts to himself. He didn't yet fully understand the Arthur family's connections, but he intended to ask the Arthur family about it later.

They stepped through the door and into the battle stage. It was enormous—around a thousand square meters in size. Though smaller than an actual arena, the stage could easily accommodate thousands of spectators. This was the first floor of the Hunter's Guild, and the entire space had been converted into a battle arena. Despite its size being far from that of a true battlefield, it was impressive for an indoor setting.

Nora was already there, having arrived ahead of them. The Iron Reavers Cabin was temporarily closed, and Evan turned to Anos and Zoey.

"Don't go too far," he said. "Remember, no spiritual weapons. They're too dangerous, and you don't want to seriously hurt your opponent. You're both at the same level, so make sure you control your strength."

Both Anos and Zoey nodded in understanding.

Evan continued, "The arena is divided into two sections. You'll fight in the inner circle. The first one to be knocked out of the inner area loses. How does that sound?"

"Sounds good!" Zoey said, her excitement bubbling over. She couldn't wait to show Anos what she was capable of.

As the conversation came to a close, Nora and Grandpa Evan stood together,Nora's white shirt and denim jeans accentuated her curves, showcasing her sensual, mature physique. Her big buttocks and ample bust seemed to defy gravity, drawing the eye like a magnet.

Grandpa Evan's eyes twinkled with mischief as he spoke, "Little Nora, I see this young man has lustful thoughts about you whenever he looks at you. His eyes linger on your curves, and his mind wanders to forbidden places."

Nora's expression remained serene, but a hint of amusement danced in her eyes. "I know, Grandpa Evan," she replied, her voice husky and confident. He reached out, his hands grasping Nora's buttocks, squeezing and releasing them slowly, repeating the motion as he spoke.

Nora's expression remained normal, as if Evan's actions were a daily occurrence. However, her breathing became slightly rougher, and her face flushed with a subtle rise in temperature.

"Grandpa, why are you doing this in front of Zoey and Anos?" Nora asked, her voice steady, but with a hint of reprimand. "What if they find out? Please stop."

Grandpa Evan's grin never wavered. "Don't worry, my little Nora. They'll be focused on their battle and won't have time to notice us. Just watch the ongoing battle and let me feel the sultry, curvy matureness of yours. Tonight, wear something nice to meet me, Nora."

As Anos and Zoey walked into the arena and stood in the inner area, the atmosphere became more tense, foreshadowing the intense battle to come.

The air grew tense as Anos and Zoey stood opposite each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare-down. The inner area, though only about three hundred square meters, now felt like the stage for an epic showdown. The confined space forced them to rely on precision, power, and strategy rather than sheer movement.

Anos smirked confidently, his tone dripping with playful arrogance. "Let me make this clear—don't come crying to me when I beat you senseless."

Zoey raised an eyebrow, her arms crossed defiantly. "Tsk, you're dreaming. Let me make this clear—don't bawl your eyes out when I leave you on the ground."

A flicker of amusement crossed Anos's face, but his stance tightened. "Oh, it's on."

"Bring it!" Zoey shot back, her energy already beginning to surge.

In an instant, both of their auras erupted, creating a whirlwind of force. Anos's Spirit Core Realm Stage-One energy rippled out, but he consciously suppressed it to the Stage-Ten of the Elemental Foundation Realm to keep the fight fair. He knew that overwhelming Zoey with his full strength would rob the battle of its thrill.

Both of their powers surged into the air, their hair and clothes fluttering wildly under the pressure. The arena's sandy ground swirled around them, caught in the storm of their energies, as they prepared for the clash.

The tension in the air promised a battle neither of them would forget.
