The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 131: [Not a mere settlement!]

Time passed as I changed the minor details of the settlement. Rather than starting with the heavy duty work, I started with the smaller ones first.

The most basic was the water that flowed in the fountains and through the drinking pipes. And even the water that came into the bathroom, and the drainage.

[Item: Healing Water

Grade: F

Effects: Increases the healing regeneration of the user by 5% for 2 hours! Restores 10 HP for every liter of water drunk by the user!]

Once the water was done, next came the flowers that were present at every corner of the city. Since I wanted to create a central point for the flower, and not enchant them individually, I made sure they come from a single branch that spread all around the city.

[Enchanted Spirit Tree

Grade: D

Effects: Produces Flowers that give out a relaxing atmosphere! If the user bathes in the aroma for more than 2 hours, all abnormal mental states are removed! If the user bathes for more than 24 hours, all the strong curse effects are reduced by a huge margin!

Additional Effects: Removed Confusion, panic and anxiety!]

With this done, what was next was the flooring of the city. The walk should be comforting and not heavy, the steps should be easy with little friction. Since I was going to introduce even cars and bikes later on, the chances of accidents happening should be reduced.

It's still not perfect, but it should be able to hold out the unwanted injuries that might result from accidents and stuff. Also, I should add automatic friction control in case someone starts speeding on the road.

"All right. With this done, let's move to the next target," I smiled as I then moved towards the walls of the apartments, those trees and all the shops that were within the city.

[Item: Stronghold Walls!

Grade: D

Effect: Can take a huge amount of damage before it breaks! Find adventures on мѵʟ

Special Effects:

-Self Repair: All the damage done, can be self repaired with each percent taking an hour!

-Absorb: Allows the walls to take in damage and store its energy for repair!]

'Okay, that should serve as the minimum for now,' I smiled as I was able to create D-Grade walls without much difficulty. Even though each brick took 1000 Energy as compared to mere 1 energy before, it was still fairly easy as long as I did one house at a time before taking a short break.

As usual, within the breaks, I saw how the people I contracted with, were faring in their own tutorials. It wasn't boring at all, some of them really gave their all to complete some of the quests and stuff.

At times, I gave them minor rewards such as a sword and other items, while for the most part I let them do their own things. Sometimes, I chatted with them, asking about their personal lives and stuff, which they enthusiastically told me about.

And once all my energy returned to max, I once again moved back to work on the walls of the apartments, shops and other things that I could enchant. As for the walls of the Town center, I enchanted them with an additional grade. Took more time, but it was necessary.

"With this done, and that done… hmmm… okay. Let's move to the next," I mumbled as I kept going on and on without any breaks, while Nora watched me with deep interest. Wherever I went, she followed, looking at how I was dealing with things.

Sometimes she was amazed at how I created the door to open automatically or have specific conditions for them to block if the players were to try anything funny. Well, above all, she was amazed at the inns that I created for the players to stay.

The way those ins were self functioning as long as you pay the right amount of points, and the way no one can force anything to any parts of the city, made her amazed with the entire settlement.

"Is this really a settlement? Even the safe zone pales in comparison to how it functions," she spoke in amazement as she observed the entire thing with her eyes wide open. While I smiled in satisfaction, as I finally began creating guards of all shapes and sizes.

I was done with everything, from the outer gate to the inner drainage system. Nothing was left by me. Even the items in the shops were created by me for the players to buy, and there were even food creating machines that the players can use with points.

The only two things that were left were the teleportation gates and the guards to protect the city if anyone tries to do anything underhanded.

And since I had decided that I was going to create at least 100 A-Grade guards, and 4 S-Grade teleportation gates on each side of the city, I decided to start with the A-Grade guards. Since they were going to be the foundation of the defense of the city, I decided to go an extra step with how they were going to be.

Since I already had the [Map] with me, surveillance cameras were not needed here. Though I need to make sure that all the guards are connected with each other, and are able to respond quickly in all the required situations.

Nora observed me adding various features to the guard, with her eyes widened in surprise as she gulped. I could see the strange fear in her eyes as she kept mumbling,

"Forget about being a bit safe… this settlement might even be safer than the safe city itself."

And I nodded at her words. Though… this was only the beginning. This was only the start… a mere settlement. Soon as time will pass, I will even create more absurd things as I will develop this settlement into a village, and then into town, and then to city before finally making it a kingdom.

By the time night came, I was finally done with my first guard that took about 2 hours to be prepared. Though sadly, I couldn't create all of the things it had with my energy alone, I had to go one step ahead and even use GM Points here and there. Otherwise it might have taken a few days to create even a single one of these guards.

"Well… at least it's worth it," I smiled as I looked at the guard knight standing on its own two feet.
