''I will soon make you pay the tenfold to whatever you did.''

''How? Care to explain?'' Enger crossed his arms delightedly. ''Do you know why Devin was unable to locate you? The place you are staying in my private island. The connections to the outside world are cut off. From today, you will have to spend your entire life with the so-called leftover, and soon I will make you my wife. Gone was the trend you hear stories of a prince charming coming on a white horse. Wake up. He will never reach you.''

''Gone was the trend, princess waiting for the prince charming to come and rescue her on the winged horse.'' Leena rose to stand, tall and proud. ''It's Leena. She is the brand. She doesn't copy trends.. She set the trends.''

With force, Enger grabbed Leena's arm and pulled her to him. His dark eyes gaze into her fearless eyes. ''Aren't you least bit afraid? My men surround this island. Even to step out of this place, you need my permission.''

''Ten days.'' Leena jerked his hands off her. Grabbing a tissue from the car, she wiped her hand. ''Try keeping me here for ten days if you can.''

With a scoff, he mocked, looking at her hand. ''Are you challenging me?''

''Too lazy for that.'' Like a typical narcissist, she said. ''I am showcasing my caliber to let you prepare for the worst to come.'' She then turned to aunt Milana. ''Can you lead me to the kitchen?'' The dishes look great, but she is not eating anything he offers until she returns into her babylicious arms.

Aunt Milana dubiously looked at Enger. When he nodded his head, she told Leena. ''I_I will show you. Please follow me.'' Before leaving, she took a peek at the psycho. She wished she had brought her mobile. She has been waiting for someone to tear this psycho's ass, and finally, this girl fulfilled her wish.

A punch landed on the wall as the rage overwhelmed him. ''Ten days? It took me one week to plan and one week to execute it. With no phone, no social media, how will you contact him? This is your destiny, Leena. Soon, you will accept the identity.''

In the kitchen, Leena examined the ingredients thoroughly. She washed the vegetables and other staples twice and made supper for herself without letting any maid help her. Although her cooking is not the worst, after Aunt Jalapeno came, she rarely cooked.

The place looked like a palace that the first-timers would definitely get lost. A guard came beside her to lead her to the room. All the way, her eyes looked past the surroundings to check for the CCTV cameras. Every corridor, there was one. 

After returning to her room, Leena scanned to see if Enger had put on a camera. He informed her there were no cameras, but better be safe than sorry. She closed her eyes to sleep, but the images of Devin's face, Nick's bloodied wound, Carrot's whimpers haunted her. ''Please, let them be safe.''

Days passed in a blink of an eye, and it was Leena's fifth day here, but she couldn't find a single clue. Just the thought of staying here forever made her brain go restless. The guards followed her everywhere she went. Her life was living in a cage, with the doors wide open. Enger would come every day to her room, but she refused to see his face for a second. 

For the five days Leena stayed here, she didnot sit in her room except for sleeping. She learned the directions of this house, the places CCTV cameras are set, the number of times Enger goes into the lab.

The only problem is her escape, but there is no one to help her. She made friends with Aunt Milana. Tonight, while preparing dinner, Leena planned to steal her mobile.

Tiredly, she returned to the room and climbed on the bed. Hugging her stomach, she pursed her lips. ''Little brat! You are testing your mother before coming to this world. What feats will you perform once you are out?'' Slowly her fatigue kicked in. She closed her eyes to take a nap, but before she rested for a couple of minutes, she heard a voice.

'Leena' 

'Can you hear me, Leena?'

With a start, Leena woke up and looked around, but none was apparent to her eyes. Who could it be? Is it a ghost?

'You scared cat, I am not a ghost. It's me, Morvena. I am communicating through our thoughts.'

'Morvena, how did you_'

'Listen up, Leena. I have been trying to reach you since you were abducted and brought here, but luckily today, you are available. Don't interrupt me until I complete my thoughts. I was brutally hit and starved from food. So, I have very little to no energy.'

'Enger found that I revealed Devin's memories to you. He knew Devin would come to Russia for my help, so he abducted me and injured me physically. I am in the same house as you, under the basement.'

'The potential drug he has been researching for ten years is soon launching into the market. If it becomes successful, his company would be the top supplier of medical drugs to the world. If that happens, there is no stopping him. No one would look for his crimes and his heinous deeds. He planned to reveal his identity as the face of Leius and introduce you as his wife. That is his plan from the beginning. He planned and kidnapped you at the right time. To the public, it will look like you have eloped with Enger by cheating on Devin.'

''Oh my Goodness! A masterstroke plan!''

'So, you need to stop him. In the past, my mother investigated the illegal manufacturing of drugs his company made. I have kept it safe in my house.'

'Why didn't you stop it before then?'

'Winter didn't let me because she loved him...anyway..that's a long story. The third floor, which is Enger's study room, has a computer and laptop backup. If you can break into the room, you can hack into the system and contact Devin. Pass the message to Devin, and let him go to my house to find the evidence.'

'How do I do that? He is keeping a strict watch over me. Besides, I can't bypass the secret cameras.'

'His lab is on the fifth floor. I don't know if my energy will be sufficient, but I will try to break the electricity and stop the generator from working for a while. Can you mask the guards and break in?'

'I don't know if I can, but there is no harm in trying. When is it?'

'Tonight.'
