Chapter 512 Rainer’s Ultimate Move

Chapter 512 Rainer's Ultimate Move

Kaladin watched Rainer's display of power with surprise.

'Such strong killing force!' He was astonished. Such power was not ordinary, and at the level of a newly ascended Minor God, Kaladin doubted that there were many who could stand up to Rainer. Of course, if Leon were at the same level, then he would easily be able to defeat Rainer. Kaladin never had a shred of doubt in his Master's ability to overcome adversity.

As Kaladin watched, Rainer continued to get more and more involved in battles. He intentionally baited multiple creatures and made them gather together so that they could gang up on him. His eyes showed that he did not see them as enough of a threat, but he never let his guard down.

Only when over twenty celestial creatures had gathered to fight him did he finally stop. Not all of these celestial creatures got along, but upon realizing that Rainer looked down on all of them, they put aside their grievances to deal with him.

Lightning bolts, fireballs, blades of wind, all sorts of attacks rained down on Rainer from above. Down below, the earth turned into quicksand and thick ropes of metal and rock shot up to try and grasp Rainer and pull him down into the quicksand.

As Rainer dodged all of these attacks, he felt the space around him suddenly constrict before exploding violently, engulfing him in a storm of spatial tears. This move would have been deadly for anyone. However, Rainer was very old and had developed many means over the years.

"Open Singularity." Rainer's cold voice rang out from amidst the spatial storm. When the space had been patched back and healed by the Laws of the celestial realm, Rainer's figure was revealed. Not a single scratch marred his armor.

"???!" The creatures down below were startled at this, but before they could react, Rainer launched his move.

His blades exploded with dark light as he crossed the blades and dragged their sharp edges together. He pointed at the turtle-like creature that had created the spatial bomb and released the power that he had gathered in just a few short moments.

"Let me show you what true Spatial Manipulation is." His voice was cold. "Die!" A strange keening sound rang in the ears of the creatures before the location of the turtle-like celestial creature was suddenly engulfed by a black light. The black light only lasted for a moment before vanishing, but in its place was a crater, and no trace of the turtle-like celestial creature could be found.

What Rainer had done was the true manifestation of one of his trump cards - Open Singularity. He had used his swords and his Divine Power to create a singularity where the turtle creature had been standing, which had instantly devoured the creature and provided some spare energy that had been converted for him.

With him having shown what one of his trump cards was, Rainer no longer delayed. His body blurred from place and he appeared behind a large ape whose body crackled with lightning. As soon as he appeared, the ape reacted, its feet expertly moving, like that of a fancy dancer. It jumped away and distanced itself from Rainer, thinking it had escaped death, but in the next moment, the world from its view suddenly tilted.

Rainer scoffed as turned away and appeared before his next victim. His swords crossed and created a strange absorption force that drew in the fearful creature. As soon as it came in contact with his swords, the strong carapace around its body parted like a stick of butter facing a heated knife. It died with a short scream.

Rainer's swords flashed and his face remained cold as he mowed through the crowd. A few creatures saw that they stood no chance against him if they allowed him to pick them off one by one so they sought to join forces and combine their powers to fight back.

Rainer raised his head as he witnessed the Laws that the fundamental elements were based on come together and mix. Normally, some mixtures like fire and water would create rather explosive results, but under the deliberate and experienced control of these creatures, they were able to work towards creating a stable but still powerful expression of their combined powers.

He realized how dangerous it would be if they were allowed to continue combining their powers, so he instantly made a move to stop them.

"Open Singularity!" He crossed his swords again and the darkness around them became palpable. However, unlike before, the other creatures actively worked to stop him. Attacks rained down on him, trying to interrupt his casting, but it was all useless.

Rainer had long since realized how open he would be when he was casting the Open Singularity technique, so he had also created a technique that went hand in hand with the Open Singularity technique. It was called the Closed Singularity, which sealed off every space around him, creating an isolated space around him that could not be breached through ordinary means.

Panic spread amongst the remaining celestial creatures when they saw that their attacks failed to yield any results. The fear that Rainer had planted in their hearts was much greater than any other thing they had faced before.

Clang!

Rainer's swords dragged against each other as he completed the technique. The location of the creatures that had been pooling their powers together was instantly engulfed in a powerful spatial anomaly that blotted out all the light in the surroundings. A powerful suction emanated from the center of the storm that threatened to draw in every other being in the vicinity. Only Rainer remained unmoved, protected by his Closed Singularity barrier.

The powerful suction remained for a dozen seconds before slowly reducing, along with the darkness that had crept up on the surroundings as a result of Rainer's move.

When the darkness receded, the location of the attack was revealed for all to see. Rainer grunted when he saw the result of his attack. He was not too surprised, but he was also not overly impressed.
