Chapter 72: Hope to see you soon!
Chapter 72: Hope to see you soon!
“Ummm…respected hunter. Are you sure you don’t want to register your name? You are going to lose a total of forty percent of the total compensation.”
In a fairly lighted hall which had a ceiling not more than ten feet distant from the ground and a small bunch of crowd loitering around, could be seen a strange masked raven-haired girl who has become the center of every attraction.
The reason was the corpse of [Unique-rank] Beetle Rhino she has brought to sell in the guild. Apart from the fact that such a small kid has accomplished such a feat which required at least a team of rank 4 warriors but also she was rejecting the offer to be fully paid just because she doesn’t want to register herself.
There are not many [Unique-rank] monsters one could find and despite the discovery, something like the rhino was something a whole party need proper planning and strategizing before they could strike. However, this girl had no partner nor anyone seemed to know her identity as well.
The reception lady with a wry smile affirmed once again, yet the same static voice responded with the same content.
“I am certain.”
Hearing the girl’s resolute voice there was nothing the reception lady could do despite having an extreme urge her to recruit as a star adventurer of the guild.
“Sigh, Very well. Please wait for some time until I prepare the funds...”
Nodding the girl walked to the table where other hunters were already seated and were continuously paying attention to the conversation. Seeing the wooden mask adorning the girl, approaching, they wordlessly made space for her.
(After 20 minutes)
“I hope Hades guild can do business with the respected hunter once again.”
Nodding, the girl took the brown leather pouch from the hand of the reception lady before she walked out of the guild headquarters.
Glancing inside she found that just as she requested, there were nine platinum bars and hundred gold coins placed inside. Ten platinum coins for one hunt weren’t bad as it could help the girl…or to say her mother with at least three months worth of expenses even if they live a luxurious life.
“Sigh, If I knew it would be this easy I could have long ended our financial crisis…”
Removing the mask, what came from beneath was a porcelain face covered in slight sweat which further enhanced her beauty. Coupled with the pair of deep blue eyes, the teenage girl look breathtaking with every move she took, making the passers-by forget what they were doing for a moment.
But nothing affected Anabelle, as she walked into the wilderness, disappearing from everyone’s perception as before returning home she thought of visiting a certain place.
Thinking of the place she was going, a smile lifted the edge of her lips as she thought about the memories she has spent at that place.
‘I hope she isn’t angry with me…’

(Back to present)
Inside the carriage sat four figures of which three were female and the single male was currently having his eyes closed as he leaned his head on the backrest of the seat.
Occasionally, Lara who was beside her young master interacted with the first princess’ maid—Riahna—but other than that the carriage stayed silent since that ambush took place.
The remaining troops of the royal convoy were getting treated in the nearby hospitals and those who were fit, joined Seth’s troupe to march forward for this short journey.
The knight commander was pretty stubborn when it came to his job as apart from gulping some [Recovery Potion] he insisted to follow the carriage since it was his duty to ensure Celine’s safety until his last breath.
During the journey, Celine’s whole focus was centered on only one person and that person was sitting across her, just some feet away.
If she were to describe Seth in two words then it would be—Calculative and Obscure.
Calculative since she has seen how he always corners people with his own verdict, making them think that his suggestion could be the best possible way for one to follow.
Obscure since she couldn’t read what he is up to at all. If he really was trying to get her attention and make some connection with the central authority, which sounds most unlikely given his lineage, then conversing with the first princess when he have the chance would have been the most efficient way.
Right now, Celine wouldn’t have minded talking to Seth since he have successfully made a strong impression in her mind but what he was doing was just simply gathering Soul Energy at one point and disintegrating it afterward. Very slow yet impactful method of increasing Soul efficiency.
Though she couldn’t find any reason for him to be doing such a thing when being a mage he must have better methods. This was something newbie mages or those who recently get themselves Soul core do in order to adapt themselves to Soul energy. Then why…
‘Indeed…strange…’
Under complicated thoughts, they reached their destination which ended up near the Western Border of the Capital perimeter.
What came into their sight was a small church which by outer look didn’t seem so outstanding for a princess to visit this regularly but Seth said nothing since he knew the reason behind Celine’s obsession.
“This is where we part ways, your highness Princess Celine. I am leaving my elite guards on patrol, which will ensure your safe return.”
Seth slightly bowed in front of the lady as he bid his farewell. He had no interest in pushing this meeting any further despite not having any particular work up ahead. He has thrown the bait and has to slowly weave the trap, so for now it was enough.
Celine was silent for most of the time, as she saw Seth’s turning back and walking toward the carriage.
Just as he was about to board the carriage a crisp beautiful voice reached up to his senses.
“I am hoping to meet you soon, Seth.”
Seth turned to look at the lady, but she already turned away and walked inside the church. Left dumbfounded, her personal maid bowed in apology before she followed her young lady soon after.
With a dangerous smirk curling his thin lips, Seth shook his head and climbed in the carriage.
His primary motive has been fulfilled.
-----------------------------------------------
Inside the church, Celine after greeting the father went directly to the place for which she has picked this church as her comfort zone.
None of the guards followed up here as per the princess's order but they ensured her safety with a prior survey and found nothing suspicious.
With the massive tree in her vision, Celine absentmindedly walked up to it, completely ignorant about the presence looking at her with cold eyes.
“Never expected Prez had such preference….”
Startled the princess looked in the direction of the voice only to find a pair of chilly blue eyes staring down at her.
“Y-You….
