Star lynx asked Lucas, just like how an arrogant human behaves while exuding a huge pressure on Lucas and the lynxes around Lucas.

As a spirit beast with a bloodline of Heavenly spirit beast, of course, the star lynx was arrogant. 

So, when it heard that a young human with the strength of tier 1 general knight wanted to tame it, the star lynx became very angry and furious.

'Thud'

All 12 lynxes were fearful of the star lynx from the beginning. So, when the star lynx released its pressure, it crushed the 12 lynxes onto the ground.

"You are just a rank 5 spirit beast that I can defeat you without moving from my place. Do you wanna bet on it?"

However, Lucas remained in his place with a calm look on his face as he asked the star lynx to bet with him.

The star lynx was surprised to see that Lucas was still standing in his place without showing any fear or pain on his face.

Without giving Lucas any chance to speak another word, the star lynx directly used one of its attacks on Lucas.

Three small stars appeared above the star lynx' head which landed on Lucas at an incredible speed, making it impossible for Lucas to dodge the attack.

Soon, a huge explosion released many small light dots which fell on the twelve lynxes.

"A puny human that can't even withstand my single attack wants to tame me?"

Star lynx scoffed at the place that Lucas was standing and said those words.

Other than the small light, the entire area was covered in smoke, making it impossible for others to see what happened to Lucas.

Beck was still hiding under the order of Lucas as she worriedly muttered to herself.

Before the star lynx exude the pressure to suppress Lucas, he transmitted a voice to Beck ordering that she should not come out of her place at any cost.

Moreover, he also said that everything was in control and he was going to tame the star lynx in the next 10 minutes.

In the star lynx' view, there is no way that Lucas could survive that attack. So, it didn't even bother to look for Lucas in that smoke; instead, it mocked the 12 lynxes.

Star lynx was very serious as it looked at the lynxes that were already suppressed and fell to the ground.

Without any hesitation, the star lynx once again used the same skill that it used earlier to kill Lucas.

However, just when the three stars landed on any of the lynxes lying on the ground, they were deflected by some kind of barrier, making the star lynx raise its browns.

"Before killing them, you have to kill me."

No one knows when Lucas appeared among the lynxes; however, he replied in a serious tone that made all the lynxes lying on the ground feel touched.

Everyone called Lucas with a voice full of emotion.

"Huh? You are still alive?"

The star lynx almost didn't see Lucas until he spoke and it was surprised to see him unscathed.

"Your attacks are not strong enough to make a scratch on me or my barrier."

Lucas scoffed back at the star lynx, making it very furious.

'How could a puny human speak with me in such a tone?'

The star lynx was very angry that its body started shining with bright light.

"Looks like you have a few tricks under your sleeves. Let's see how long that barrier will protect you."

The star lynx was not the type to give up so easily as he charged up all the energy in his body to its forehead and shouted, "Star beam"

In the next second, a bright lightray came out of the crystal embedded in the center of its head.

However, the barrier was not showing any signs of getting destroyed.

'This is an item worth 10000 sovereign points. It should at least handle a couple of attacks, right?'

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he scoffed at the star lynx.

The star beam was not showing any signs of stopping and Lucas also didn't show any signs of worry on his face.

'No matter what you do, for the next five minutes, you can break this barrier.'

Lucas was confident for a reason from the beginning because he was currently using a trump card he prepared beforehand especially for the sake of the rank 5 spirit beasts like star lynx.

After seeing the defence of the [Black tortoise] in the [Fighting arena], Lucas didn't have any doubts regarding the barrier and bought it without any hesitation.

'Since there are five more minutes, should I use the other item or should I try another method?'

Other than the talisman, Lucas also bought a couple of items from the sovereign shop.

Earlier, he used one time to escape the star lynx's attack and that leaves him with the last item.

However, he didn't want to waste it that easily. So, he decided to search for the other method as he had another five minutes of the time anyway.

When Lucas' eyes landed on the lynxes around him, he thought of an idea that might work out.
