Chapter 50: Penalty

Chapter 50: Penalty

Dumbledore gasped for breath and stopped halfway.

Only when everyone held their breath and looked at him did he continue to announce the verdict, "Slytherin's freshman behavior is bad so that everyone will be deducted five points."

Dumbledore first looked at the group of losers on the ground and gave a judgment.

Then, Dumbledore looked at Coven, who had a "did something wrong" expression. He stared at Coven for a moment and continued, "Coven Quinn, a beautiful defense spell. Gryffindor, add a hundred points."

"OH"

"WOW"

They had never heard of adding so many points at a time. A group of Gryffindor quail suddenly evolved into ducks and cheered.

"But-" Dumbledore suddenly raised his voice, making the scene quiet down.

"However, Coven Quinn's defense also caused a classmate's injury." Dumbledore said in a fair tone, "Therefore, I have decided that every injured student will deduct five points from Coven Quinn."

Everyone was stunned. The Gryffindor students immediately turned their heads in unison and looked at the group of Slytherin, who was still lying on the ground. They began to count.

After counting the heads, the Gryffindor students breathed a sigh of relief. Because other than the two surviving Slytherin, there were a total of fourteen wounded people on the ground. Calculating, Coven had only been deducted seventy points and earned thirty points.

"Severus, is this okay?" Dumbledore turned his head and looked at Professor Snape, who was beside him.

"I think every injured student should be deducted ten points for Mr. Quinn!" Snape did not hide his partiality. "After all, the ordinary use of the 'iron armor curse' can defend against attacks, but Mr. Quinn deliberately counterattacked the curse."

Snape stared at Coven with unfriendly eyes and slowly said in his unique tone, "So I think Mr. Quinn has the suspicion of deliberately hurting his classmate."

"Snape!" Professor McGonagall was so angry that she called Snape by his surname. "How can you say that!"

"Oh, okay, Severus, Minerva." Professor Dumbledore smiled and comforted the two. "It's settled, as I said."

"Hmph!" Professor McGonagall snorted and then looked at Headmaster Dumbledore. She had no choice but to give him face and stop arguing. After all, Coven earned 30 points and did not receive any other punishment.

Snape also knew that his opinion could not be accepted. He was just venting his anger a little, so he did not continue to hold on to it.

As for Professor Flitwick, he was even less in the position to participate. After all, there were no students of him, Ravenclaw, among the people participating in this chaotic fight.

"Alright, everyone." Dumbledore opened his mouth again and commanded, "Let's send the injured students to the infirmary first."

"Minerva, please go to the greenhouse behind the castle and see if Pomona is there." Dumbledore continued, "Tell her to take some herbal medicine to the infirmary to help. There are too many injured students. I'm afraid the infirmary won't be able to handle it."

"Okay." Professor McGonagall nodded.

"Then let's get into action." As Dumbledore spoke, he took out his wand and pointed it at the ground.

The next moment, the lawn on the ground suddenly began to change shape and material. Pieces of the lawn quickly became stretchers.

Several professors moved together and transferred the injured Slytherin students to the stretchers. Then the stretchers were controlled by the professors and floated up.

"Oh, right..." Dumbledore turned around and looked at the remaining students. He said flatly, "Don't stay here. Go back to the castle dormitory."

"Yes, headmaster."

"Yes, Mr. Headmaster."

Everyone responded.

Seeing this, Dumbledore glanced at Coven again, then turned around and left with the professors on the stretcher.

It wasn't until the professors disappeared that the two surviving Slytherin students bowed their heads and quickly left with defeated expressions.

Seeing this, the remaining Gryffindor students suddenly cheered. They swarmed around Coven like a swarm of bees, stretching out their arms and arms like a Cthulhu's tentacles. Then, the Gryffindor students grabbed Coven's clothes and lifted him off the ground.

"!"

Coven only had time to let out a low cry before the students around him threw him up...

..

At dinner time, Coven's 'win' 'was naturally gossiped about. All of House's students knew of Coven's magnificent feat.

After dinner, Coven basically had no chance to eat. Students of all grades surrounded him at any time, and the words of congratulations, praise, and so on continuously bombarded his ears.

There are even those who show their love can you believe that?

Coven had no choice but to end the dinner in advance and run back to the dormitory to separate himself from the others...

...

At night, in the principal's office.

Headmaster Dumbledore and the four House deans gathered in the office. The atmosphere in the office was a little gloomy.

"You have all seen the Pensieve*'." Dumbledore said in a serious tone. He looked at the four house deans and said in a low voice, "Tell me your opinion."

[*TL Note: The Pensieve was a magical device used to review memories. It had the appearance of a shallow stone or metal basin, into which runes and strange symbols were carved, and precious stones were fitted. It was filled with a silvery substance that appears to be a cloudy liquid/gas; the collected memories of people who had siphoned their recollections into it.]

"He is very dangerous!" At this time, Professor Snape was no longer expressionless. His demeanor was no different from a normal person. With a solemn expression, he shouted, "He is almost like the replica of that person!"

"Oh! Severus..." When the professor of Herbology, dean of Hufflepuff, Pomona Sprout, heard this, she immediately said in shock, "You shouldn't judge Coven like this. It's a bit too much."

"That's right, Severus." Professor Flitwick also added, "Little Coven is just too smart."

Professor McGonagall did not express her opinion because it involved Gryffindor's students.

"Do you only see his intelligence?" Professor Snape was a little excited. "I admit that he is a genius, but I don't believe that you haven't seen something else! Especially with the reminder from the principal!"

When Professor Sprout and Professor Flitwick heard this, they both fell silent.

"Genius! He is resourceful and resourceful! He attracts the attention of the surrounding people! There are different expressions! There is also indifference to the rules!" Snape gritted his teeth and growled, "He's almost a replica of that person! Am I wrong?"

"Calm down, Severus." Dumbledore comforted.

"Maybe..." Dumbledore recalled the two memories about Coven. He recalled the details of Coven's expression and said with some uncertainty, "Maybe he just likes to hide his true emotions."

Obviously, Coven's acting skills have been seen through by Dumbledore...
