Chapter 139: Defeating The Mother Tree

"Haha." Albert chuckled after escaping from the cage made by the mother tree. His robe was truly a godly item against a horny opponent. If he could get the blueprint for other equipment and cover the entire body, he would be invincible.

This robe actually angered the mother tree as it retracted the roots and branches for a few seconds.

Albert thought this was his chance to attack the mother tree, but the latter released a green light from its trunk when he stepped forward.

"" Albert frowned and realized that he was in a perilous situation. Unlike the slime king, the mother tree seemed to be planning to kill him instead of capturing him.

So, the moment the mother tree spread its roots, Albert's body would be ripped apart.

Seeing this situation, Albert hurriedly moved his finger to skillfully direct it to the ones that captured his right wrist.

The Bonk Bat shattered it into pieces. With the right hand becoming free, Albert struck the one on his left wrist, completely freeing his hands.

Due to the danger coming from the bat, the mother tree immediately pulled his feet and swung him around to destroy his balance.

"Woah!" Albert gritted his teeth and closed one eye due to the dizziness of getting swung around.

Suddenly, the roots on his ankles shattered into pieces.

"Woah?!" Albert widened his eyes and had his body thrown to the ground thirty feet from his position.

Luckily, he was fast enough to react so as to not land in a bad pose, lest he snapped his bone or something.

As soon as he landed on two feet, he raised his vision and saw no one in the front. It was clear who did it because there was actually a lump of magic power in the air.

"Thank you, Shella."

"I'm here to protect Master until you can achieve our objective. Even if I need to bonk the king of hell, I shall do it." Shella replied while glaring at the mother tree.

As if feeling Shella's magic power, multiple roots emerged from the ground, circling her from all directions.

The roots shattered in an instant with sharp energy from the side.

It was Albert. He just released his Bonk Wave Emission to destroy all of them. Looking at Shella, he said, "Thank you for the help, but I will deal with this myself."

"" Shella paused for a moment and chose to fly toward Yale and the others. "Understood."

Albert then dashed forward while raising his Bonk Bat.

Knowing that the target had shifted to him again, Albert stabbed the ground with his Bonk Bat. "Bonk Wave."

Unlike the slime king, the mother tree couldn't split its body into two, so it needed to protect the body with all those roots and branches.

Seeing energy coming from the ground and turning into a Bonk Bat when it leaped into the air, the tree released all its branches and roots to stop the Bonk Bat.

Unfortunately, because it had released most of it to attack Albert, the ones that protected its body couldn't handle this one Bonk Bat, resulting in Bonk Bat hitting the huge trunk.

Bonk.

The bonk released its force and knocked the tree down, but due to the efforts of its roots, the tree managed to stay in its position with only a slight tilt to the back.

"It can withstand the force better than the dryad, eh." Albert smiled and pointed his palm to the mother tree, summoning five Bonk Bats.

Bonkbolt.

The five Bonk Bats flew to the tree, taking advantage of this situation.

However, the tree had more time to prepare this time. It had retracted all the roots and branches back and protected itself from all those Bonk Bats.

Albert didn't stop there.

A magic circle appeared in the air as it shot many Bonk Bats down, raining the tree with Bonk Bats.

The branches and roots were taken down one after another, but the trees kept growing them back in an instant.

Still, the process took a considerable amount of magic power. Albert could see it with his Bonk Eyes.

"With the current amount of magic power, the tree should be defeated within ten minutes," Albert muttered and waved his Bonk Bat, summoning another crescent shape energy.

The sharp energy shattered everything on its way. And with the help of the Bonk Rain, the energy somehow reached the main body, sending the trunk back.

This time, the trunk tilted a bit more than the Bonk Wave.

"You're going down, tree!" Albert smirked and summoned his Bonk Bomb, trying to overpower this tree with his firepower. After all, horny couldn't win against bonk.

Though, he still acknowledged that Albert had no chance to win if he didn't have the bonk power. Because of those four druids that had become dryads of this mother tree, the number of branches and roots had indeed increased tremendously.

Seeing that the situation had turned in his favor, Albert used his Bonk Dash to close their distance.

Without hesitation, he struck the numerous branches and roots.

Swift Bonk.

Bonk Discharge.

Pulverization.

Bonk Crusher.

He released all his close combat spells in order to destroy all these woods. No one could stop his rampage as the mother tree had no other way to protect itself from Albert's bonk, considering all its subordinates had been stopped by Yale and the others.

"Come. Let's see whether I'm tired first or your magic power gets depleted first.." Albert let out an evil smirk.
