Chapter 133: First Time
Chapter 133: First Time
A few hours later.
Albert and his group set off with the carriage, heading straight to the forest. Their goal was clear.
Albert planned to use this mission to see the progress of his group. After all, they had certainly grown significantly with the help of his skill.
When they reached that place, they could see a few tents that were erected by the Adventurers Guild.
He could even see numerous adventurers joining this hunt in order to eliminate the tree spirits.
Albert's group walked toward the registration counter as Yale was the one doing all the talking.
"Hello, I'm planning to register my group for this mission." Yale smiled, politely greeting them.
The receptionist widened his eyes and stared at Yale in disbelief. Yale was still too young to be an adventurer, so he thought this was inappropriate. After all, he didn't want to send someone to die.
"Are you sure about this? The Dryad is classified to be D Rank or above" He furrowed his eyebrows.
To Albert's surprise, the adventurers that had yet to go toward the forest joined the fun.
"That's right, Kid. You should go back to your mother and change your diaper first."
"We don't want to see a child die."
"Who is the idiot that sends a kid here?"
Albert frowned as this was the first time he had experienced something like this. Unlike the receptionist that showed concern for Yale's safety, these adventurers said all those words purely for their own enjoyment. It was filled with mockeries.
"Why do you all bother with our matter?" Albert asked while looking around.
"Hahaha! No wonder. You have three slaves and a child. A psycho."
"Do you think you can use those slaves as your meat shields?"
"But hey, that dark elf is quite beautiful. She has big butts and boobs."
"The smaller one is also good. That's my type."
Albert frowned and asked the receptionist. "You're not going to do anything about this? They're completely mocking me."
"Haha, you are begging the Adventurer Guild?"
"How about begging your mommy?"
The receptionist shook his head. "As long as there is no physical harm, we can't do anything, Sir."
"Alright. Process the registration then." Albert nodded, choosing to ignore their comments. "I don't feel like dealing with some trash."
"What did you say, punk?"
"You dare to repeat that again?"
"I guess your ears are completely blocked. Maybe ask someone to clear your ears." Albert shrugged, looking around. He realized their levels were relatively lower than him, so he didn't care much about them.
Since Albert wanted to finish the registration soon, Yale took out his Adventurer Card and showed it to the receptionist.
"Is this enough?" Yale asked with a calm expression. As someone who had been trash-talked before, he could easily maintain his calmness.
"This" The receptionist widened his eyes when he saw Yale's rank. "I'll process it immediately. I apologize for this inconvenience."
"It's fine. You're just worried about my safety." Yale nodded, thinking nothing more other than his master's task.
Still, even though Yale had the ability to deal with this kind of situation pretty calmly, the others obviously couldn't do it.
Jessie pulled out his bat with a serious expression. "Master. May I?"
Bepe seemed to be planning to join him since his master had been insulted.
Seeing the two planning to fight them, Irena suddenly laughed out loud. "Hahahahaha!"
The anger she had been suppressing this whole time exploded in one go. "Trash. Can only talk without any skill backing you up. I'm going to slaughter all of you!"
"What did you say?!"
The adventurers were drawing their weapons as well, not taking the words lightly.
Albert sighed. He knew that there were many types of people. In Lustville Town, the people were very thoughtful and caring.
In Xander Town, the people were arrogant, but because he had been working with the succubus the whole time, he rarely met other people. And the succubus had been warned not to mess with him.
So, this was the first time he actually saw this type of person. He was glad to know more about the people in this world and didn't think much of it, considering there was also so much trash-talk back on Earth.
Now that he had lived in his second life, he felt a bit more mature in dealing with this type of person.
After being silent for a moment, Albert said, "Alright. That's enough Four of you."
Jessie, Irena, and Bepe widened their eyes and looked at him with shocked faces.
But it seemed Albert needed to repeat it for the second time. "I said four of you!"
They were stupefied by what he said.
When the adventurers wanted to mock him, they suddenly felt a presence appearing on their backs. The Bonk Bats were already on their throat as Shella made her appearance.
"Milord." Shella looked at Albert for a moment before dropping her Bonk Bats.
"W-wraith?!" The adventurers sucked a cold breath as they immediately leaped away before turning around, pointing their weapons at Shella. "Monster!"
Even the receptionist rose from his seat in fear. "What? Monster?"
The people that were still around immediately looked at them, finding Shella.
"Shella, come back," Albert shouted, declaring that Shella was his.
"Yes, Milord." She lowered her head and flew to him.
"What?"
"Did the monster listen to him?"
"A wraith should be quite powerful because only such a person would have enough Magic Power to maintain their existence in this world."
"Even the weakest wraith would be equal to a C Rank Adventurer."
"And the wraith is following that dog?!"
"Is he a monster tamer?"
"There's no way. Do you know how hard it is to tame a monster?"
Albert remained silent and vigilant, making sure there was no one that dared to sneak attack her.
Meanwhile, Yale returned to him and said, "Teacher. We're done here. I've registered us."
"Okay." Albert nodded with a calm expression as he didn't want to make such a big commotion. He needed to be more mature than them and ignore them instead of giving them attention.
Though, he indeed wanted to beat them up earlier. But seeing his subordinates' determination, he realized it wasn't worth it. Unless they provoked him again, he chose to forget about this.
Albert let out a sigh. "Alright.. Let's go to the forest."
