"What are you up to now?"

Logan turned around and looked at Fang Mo, who was not far away, his brows furrowing tightly.

Under his gaze, Fang Mo pulled out a thick black book from somewhere and began fiddling with a pile of flesh on the ground.

"Oh, I'm trying to extract some information."

While speaking, Fang Mo summoned Steve and began setting up an altar, not even turning his head as he said, "We agreed, didn't we? I help you find Charles, and you promised to perform a craniotomy for me, so of course I have to work towards that goal."

"But it's already just a pile of flesh, isn't it?"

Hearing this, Logan subconsciously frowned and said.

"No problem, at least it's still warm."

Saying this, Fang Mo raised the Book of the Abyss in his hand and said, "Revive, my information!"

As pure energy began to boil around, the ritual quickly commenced. The bloody pulp on the ground slowly began to rise. It is worth mentioning that this time Fang Mo did not use dark resurrection. Because he didn't know the soldier's name, he initiated a time-reversal ritual.

Before long, the soldier stood up again.

"Huh?"

Having just been pulled up, his consciousness seemed a bit muddled, but soon he noticed the hellish scene around him, and he was instantly stunned: "This... this is?"

His memory was still stuck on the scene before his death.

However, upon seeing the surrounding carnage, he immediately knelt on the ground with a thud.

But in the next second, Fang Mo grabbed him directly and began questioning him bluntly, "Where exactly is your boss Stryker's secret base?"

"At... At Akali..."

The soldier almost instinctively said, "In the industrial area by Lake Akali..."

"Oh, I think I've heard of it."

Upon hearing this, Fang Mo felt as though he had heard the name before, so he nodded, then pulled out a white light sphere from somewhere: "Thanks, buddy, but remember not to throw too many flashbangs in your next life."

"What?"

The soldier was dumbfounded.

However, in the next second, Fang Mo suddenly shoved the light sphere into his mouth and made a throwing motion: "A high flash A1, please? Thanks!"

"Wait..."

Before he could finish speaking, Fang Mo had already thrown the soldier into the air.

The soldier spun through the air, and after flying a considerable distance, suddenly exploded with a bang. The flawless white light pierced through the night sky, turning everything blindingly white. After more than ten seconds, darkness returned.

"Nice."

Clapping his hands with satisfaction, Fang Mo turned to Logan and said, "Got it, Stryker is in the industrial area by Lake Akali."

"I already saw that."

Logan said, rubbing his forehead in frustration.

Meanwhile, the X-Men had rescued the students.

Although the sudden invasion by the soldiers had everyone on edge, the academy's teachers, trained by Charles, were adept at calming people down.

Moreover, most of the mutant students hadn't even reacted and were tranquilized in their sleep. The rest ran quickly, and with the X-Men's help, they were evacuated before they realized the seriousness of the situation.

In summary, the students' emotions were still relatively stable, and panic had not spread among them.

Some students were even excited by the incident.

For instance, the student named John, who later went by the codename Pyro. After witnessing Fang Mo's fiery display covering nearly a kilometer, his eyes were filled not with fear, but with fervent admiration.

However, Fang Mo was unaware of this.

Once the crisis was over, peace returned to the academy.

The students were settled in their rooms, while the others were troubled with how to handle the aftermath.

The devastation outside was particularly problematic. Fixing the academy's buildings was manageable, but the chaos Fang Mo caused was terrifying. The bodies... Should they be burned or buried?

This question led to endless discussions.

Fang Mo didn't care. Anyone who dared to confront him would be killed without hesitation.

But these were American soldiers. Regardless of their orders, they all died around the mutant academy... One can only imagine which side the American president would favor upon hearing this news.

These questions gave the X-Men a headache just thinking about them.

As for Fang Mo, he had no intention of helping with the cleanup. Yawning, he went back to his room to continue sleeping.

As for the broken glass, he simply covered it with an MC glass pane.

In the end, the X-Men had no choice but to have Storm bring down a heavy rainstorm. Regardless of the outcome, they decided to clean up the area first and then determine how to deal with the bodies.

Soon enough, it was the next morning.

Fang Mo was awakened by the aroma of food. Evidently, Ah Xue was diligently fulfilling her role as a maid, with an array of exquisite and delicious breakfast items already set on the table.

After washing up, Fang Mo had a simple meal. Golden apple juice and star-studded toast with garlic made for a straightforward breakfast.

While enjoying this humble meal, there was a sudden knock at the door. Fang Mo glanced at the mini-map and saw Logan's chibi avatar outside the door.

"Hey, what a surprise," Fang Mo said with a smile, waving his hand to open the door from a distance. He then greeted Logan at the door, "Uncle Wolf, you're here to have breakfast with me today?"

"How can you even eat right now?" Logan asked as he walked in, "Did you know no one got any sleep last night?"

"Nonsense, who said that?" Fang Mo retorted while chewing on a cosmic meatball, "Since I was woken up last night, I've seen Scott with his eyes closed the entire time."

"That's because your good daughter took his visor," Logan couldn't help but say.

"It seems you're always giving me trouble," Fang Mo remained unfazed, continuing to chew on his star-studded toast. "By the way, would you like something to eat? I have freshly made curry-flavored berry jam... it's still warm, want to try some?"

"No thanks," Logan shook his head, "I've already had breakfast."

"Wow, then how could you eat?" Fang Mo countered with the same words almost instantly, catching Logan off guard.

"I'm replenishing my energy," Logan said, his eye twitching, "We're heading to Lake Alkali soon. Stryker might have prepared a lot of armed forces against us, and I need to be at my best."

"What? You're going to fight?" Fang Mo finished his juice and said, "Then you should have a cigar to perk up, right?"

"I'd rather not," Logan frowned, "Unlike you, I don't like having a talking stick in my mouth."

"What?" Fang Mo was momentarily stunned, "No, explain yourself..."

"Alright, just get ready," Logan said, not giving him a chance to respond, and turned to leave, closing the door behind him, leaving Fang Mo's retort stuck in his throat. After a moment of silence, Fang Mo could only slap the table and shout, "Damn!"

Considering Logan was waiting, Fang Mo didn't dawdle and quickly finished his breakfast. With a thought, he changed his outfit and stormed out the door, ready to confront Logan.

However, just as he stepped out and was about to speak, he saw Storm rushing over with a visibly anxious and worried expression.

"Something's happened," Storm immediately said, "Senator Kelly is dead!"

"What?" Logan was momentarily stunned, then instinctively turned to look at Fang Mo. Yes, Fang Mo had previously mentioned that Magneto's plan would fail because those exposed to the radiation would die from genetic breakdown, and it seems his prediction had come true.

"Oh, he's dead?" Fang Mo remained calm, "I remember he should have turned into a puddle of water, right? That should be easy to clean up, just use a sponge."

"This isn't about whether it's easy to clean up!"

Storm couldn't help but shout, "He's a senator! After those soldiers… now another senator has died here. Do you really understand what this means?"

"What does it mean?"

Hearing this, Fang Mo spread his hands, "Are you saying that a war between humans and mutants is about to start? Surely you're not afraid of that, are you?"

"...We have to find a way to resolve this."

Storm was somewhat speechless. Fang Mo had been regarded as a god by everyone for decades, so he certainly wasn't afraid of this. However, ordinary mutants might suffer. After thinking for a while, she said, "In any case, neither Magneto nor Professor X can ignore this now."

"So what should we do?"

Before Fang Mo could respond, Logan asked, taking the initiative.

"I think we need to handle both matters simultaneously."

Storm sighed, "I plan to select a few students to find Magneto with me. As for you, Logan, Darwin, and Nightcrawler will cooperate with you. You three will go to Lake Akali to find the professor's whereabouts... As for Scott, honestly, his mental state is not very good, so I plan to have him stay at the academy to protect the students and look after the comatose Jean. Is that acceptable?"

"Of course, I have no problem with it."

Logan nodded and then turned to Fang Mo beside him, "You should come with me too."

"Oh, sure."

Fang Mo had originally intended this, so he naturally nodded as well.

"..."

Seeing Fang Mo nod, Storm seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. She exchanged a grateful glance with Logan.

There was no other choice.

After all, last night was too chaotic.

Storm was genuinely worried that if Fang Mo stayed at the academy, he might cause some terrible trouble. Perhaps he would find the place too small and move the White House over the next second.

Given the current situation and Darwin's intelligence reports, it seemed that only Logan could barely keep an eye on Fang Mo, just like decades ago.

In short, after assigning the tasks, the X-Men began to act separately not long after.

Storm flew out in the jet, probably to find information on Magneto, while Scott, with a worried face, squatted in the medical room, watching his comatose girlfriend, Jean.

As for Fang Mo...

"So..."

Fang Mo asked while sitting in the spaceship's cockpit, "Why are we flying? Why not ride my daughter..."

"Could you shut up for a moment?"

Logan, smoking a cigarette, retorted.

"Fang Mo, I never thought I'd see you again." Darwin, who was piloting the plane, said, "It must have been decades since we last met. You don't seem to have aged at all."

"Oh, it's not that much. Actually, I have aged a bit, you just can't tell."

Fang Mo replied casually, "My girlfriend used to call me 'Dog Bi' all the time, now she calls me 'Old Dog Bi'... Oh right, can I shoot down a plane?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

Logan spat out smoke, "Do you believe if you dare, I'll stub my cigarette on your..."

"Haha, you still like to joke."

Darwin laughed but quickly turned serious as he looked at the monitor ahead, "Hmm? We seem to be..."

"Boom!"

Before he could finish, a violent explosion occurred, and the plane started to shake uncontrollably. Darwin's expression changed as he looked at the control panel, "Damn... We seem to have been hit, there's a military plane pursuing us!"

"You see, I said we should shoot down a plane."

Fang Mo spread his hands, "But you didn't believe me."

"Then hurry up and shoot!" With the plane plummeting, Logan had to grab the nearby rail to prevent being thrown out, shouting without concern for his image, the cigarette flying out of his mouth.

"Oh, alright."

Fang Mo nodded and then quietly reached into his pants.
