Shi Qing ate with much gusto. He liked fish and spice, so he loved this dish. Moreover, the craftsmanship at Zijin Gardens was first-rate. Even though it was a different time and space with different ingredients, the flavour fit his taste buds perfectly. It was so immensely good.

The fish was succulent while the pickled vegetables had a nice crunch. More importantly, it was numbing and spicy. He actually felt a buzz of warmth in his chest as he ate.

Actually, he felt warmth from the beginning, but it got even warmer, until now when things began heating up.

In addition, that heat seemed unsatisfied by just thrashing around in his chest. Gradually, it began to flow outwards at a fast pace. All his organs were enveloped by that heat, and following that, it was as if something was being liberated.
