New Life as a Futanari Tentacle Girl

Chapter 100: Using the Gate

Chapter 100: Using the Gate

Lily shivered in ecstasy when she heard her daughters threat, Thea however ignored it and took Mia's hand leading her inside.

"This woman" Sighed Thea quietly.

Thea, Mia and Lily, followed by the lion-kin, entered the huge building. The interior was pretty spacious, in front of them was something similar to border control gates. The only difference was that instead of a gate or sliding doors that opened upon access, many heavily armored guards stood blocking the way, when all was fine they moved aside allowing passage.

Thea looked to her side and saw that the commoners were waiting in long, crowded lines that were slowly shuffling forward. The line Thea and the others were waiting in however was much more empty.

As the group reached the counter, all the receptionist asked for was proof of their nobility and their purpose for using the daughter gate. When the identification cards were shown and the questions answered, the many guards moved aside and allowed Thea's group to pass.

In front of her was a huge stoney arc with a portal inside. As Thea came closer, the first thing she noticed was the countless defensive enchantments on the stoney arc, furthermore, Thea could feel that the arc was made out of adamantium which was then covered in a type of rock that had felt like it had perception blocking properties to it.

"That's quite the amount of adamantium, wonder how long it would take to make something like that?" Thea thought out loud only to hear Lily shush her from behind.

"Shhh! Thea! That is supposed to be one of this city's biggest secrets, how do you even know that?" Lily asked bewildered.

"If they are trying to hide it, they are doing a shabby job at best. If you gave me a few minutes kekeke, the enchantments I could put on it-"

"That's enough! Urg I don't even want to know anymore." Sighed Lily as she rubbed her temples, not only had Thea just called the work of countless enchantment specialist 'shabby', when she started talking about what she would do with it, her eyes grew slightly evil.

In reality Thea could only sense the metal because she had [Enchantment Talent], her title [Enchantment Specialist] and [Metallurgy] at the highest levels. She couldn't control the metal, but she could still sense/feel it.

And enchantment wise well if Thea had to judge their work she would judge it a 4 out of 10, so in her opinion, it truly was pathetic. This was because mages that practiced enchantments not only needed to study the enchantment, they also needed a LOT of mana to apply them, both of which Thea had no problem with.

"Alrighty then, lets go!" John loudly said as he and his daughters passed the security.

The 6 man group then walked up to the gate and walked through it. The gate was similar to Thea's [Rift Magic] but it needed a point A and point B, along with massive amounts of mana stones, to be functional.

'Hmm, interesting The whole concept between this gate and my [Rift Magic] is totally different. My magic is like two points in space are brought together, where a hole is then made in. This gate is like we are put into a tunnel and sped up to the exit' Thea thought as she was pulled by a force before swiftly arriving at the exit.

As Thea looked around, they were now standing in front of the mother gate, in a large courtyard in front of a huge structure. The building had vibrant colors, many windows and a medieval palace-like style.

"Woa Mia, are you seeing this?!" Thea excitedly asked but saw something she wasn't expecting when she turned around.

Mia was currently hunched over and had just vomited, judging from the liquid on the ground, and it was not just Mia but most of the children, or 'young adult' in this world.

"Mommy what's wrong with everyone?" Thea asked as she looked at her mother who was elegantly holding a hand in front of her mouth.

"Well Thea 'most' people aren't physically used to moving at such speeds, a motion sickness of sorts." Lily explained as she recollected herself.

"Hmm alright" Thea said as she used her [Elemental Magic] and sent a breeze over her little group, including the lion-kin daughters as well, John seemed to be fine.

Thea's last life transport experience together with the experience of her soul moving at the speeds of light had seemed to help Thea feel fine.

"Ahh, I feel much better, thanks Thea!" Mia said as she kissed Thea on the cheek, blushing a bit.

"T-thanks", "Thank you" Reisa and Reina thanked Thea.

"Well, what now?" Thea asked.
