Netori: Reborn as the Human Aphrodisiac

Chapter 65: Dark Crest of Paradise!

The moment Mithras' milk filled up Akamana's backdoor, the Grand Priestess' eyes glazed over, and she climaxed for the final time, passing out subsequently. Meanwhile, Mithras' Human Aphrodisiac instincts kicked in, and he opened his mouth, reflexively absorbing every drop of Akamana's orgasmic essence!

The final stage of Mithras' evolution kicked in here, prompting a spell of violent headaches that sent him reeling back. For reasons, he couldn't understand, Mithras' mind buzzed nonstop, acting as if a colony of bees had burrowed into his brain.

The smell of honey filled his nostrils, and he stood up, lurching in confusion. And if the system wasn't going through an update, Mithras would be able to see:

"Ishtar…I…have to break the spell." Balling up his fists, Mithras pushed through the pain and confusion, straightening his back and getting dressed in a heartbeat. The flame screen broke down, and one heavy step at a time, Mithras emerged from the embers, walking towards Ishtar.

Akamana stayed on the ground, with all traces of the previous session erased by the Violet Flames.

"He did it. He really…did it." While Cassandra's heart sank at Mithras' state, Elektra marveled at his accomplishment, still struggling to come to terms with the result of this confrontation. The Violet Flame still charged the two sisters, but now that Akamana was out cold, would they still get the chance to taste its boons?

But at the same time, it all felt strange. Weird and too easy. Was it really supposed to end like this? For some reason, it didn't feel right. An odd sense of foreboding crept up Elektra's back, and she joined her hands in an arcane sign, preparing for the unknown.

Meanwhile, Mithras reached Ishtar, towering above his darling sister with a gentle smile.

"No word or sentence could do justice to the rollercoaster of emotions drumming in my chest this very instant, so I will keep it simple. Love, I missed you…so much so that the fact you're standing here—right in front of me—makes me wish time could grind to a halt.

That I may take as long as I need…to enjoy this moment," Mithras said in a sweet and gentle tone, and though Ishtar still stood in a trance, though the mantra's chains still wrapped around her face, tears dropped down the dragon girl's cheeks, flowing nonstop.

"Mithras…di Helel," Ishtar whispered, subconsciously referring to an inside joke that only the siblings could understand.

Mithras' birth coincided with the Three-Way Illumination, a celestial phenomenon when the sun would stay up for three consecutive days. For that reason, his mother nicknamed him Helel, or "Morning Star" in an ancient language.

So in his childhood, whenever Mithras wanted to act spoiled with his mom, he would start by saying:

"Mithras di Helel demands your attention! Humph, you gave me a name linked to the Sun God and a nickname that literally means Morning Star, so why do I have to try so hard to get your attention? Am I not bright enough? Am I not that dazzling? See? I'm so starved of affection that I've learned the dictionary at six!"

And whenever Mithras pulled off this performance, his mom would soften like a kitten, giving him plenty of hugs and kisses.

But after she abandoned them, leaving the siblings to fend for themselves at the peak of winter, Mithras didn't find the nickname funny anymore. Abandoning everything related to it. Ishtar, however, couldn't…because while the meaning had changed over the years, Mithras had never stopped being…her Morning Star.

"Don't worry Ishtar…it's fine. Your little bro is here. From now on, no one can take you from me." Mithras whispered, and over-drafting the limits of his willpower, the Human Aphrodisiac grabbed his sister's cheeks, melting the chains and mantra with the Violet Flame.

One after the other, the locks cracked, till only about half remained. Once again, the 300 Zealots didn't intervene, keeping their senses sealed as they waited for their leader to give them a sign.

Elektra's heartbeat sped up, and the Wheel of Fortune appeared above her head, spinning as the fox queen stretched her arms out.

'Good instincts.' A voice reverberated in Elektra's mind, and the world ground to a standstill with everything across a hundred miles entering a stasis.

Only Mithras and Ishtar weren't affected by this force. No one else could move—not even the Zealots. Cassandra wanted to scream. Scream at Mithras to turn or run, but she couldn't. Her body refused to budge, forcing her to watch, helpless as Akamana stood up with a purple demonic crest flashing above her right shoulder.

When that crest appeared, Elektra too wanted to scream, hoping that Mithras could at least escape with his sister…for that battle had ended.

Dark Crest of Paradise: the mark of a Dark Preceptor. By absorbing Mithras' tyrant-class Orgasmic Essence, Akamana had unlocked the fifth Divine Secret and became a Dark Preceptor.

The situation…had just become hopeless. And as only one-fourth of the locks remained, Akamana's hand stabbed into Mithras' back, making his blood burst forth.

"Didn't see that one coming, did you? That makes two of us. Thank you, cutie pie, this was an unexpected boon. But now I hope you understand that I only have two choices left: kill you or keep you…for a lifetime that is." Akamana whispered in Mithras' ear, and while keeping him weakened, the Grand Priestess unleashed a mantra—the same mantra she'd used to control Ishtar's mind.

But as the lilac chains extended towards Mithras' head, Akamana noticed that her hand couldn't dig further into Mithras' bones. Worse, her fingers felt stuck—unable to withdraw.

The series of events that'd happen next would become memories the Grand Priestess would hold onto for the rest of her existence.

Ishtar's claws jerked forth, stabbing at Akamana's eyes. The blow had no impact, but the sight of Ishtar attempting to gouge out her eyes…while still under the influence of her mantra…made the Grand Priestess doubt her powers for the first time in centuries.

Her focus broke, and with it the chains that aimed at Mithras' head. But as this played out, at the back, the Elektra sisters bit their lips to blood, slowly extending their hands towards one another.

Both pushed through their limits, their bones snapping as they broke their limits.

From where was that strength coming from?

Cassandra didn't want to lose Mithras. And Elektra didn't want to lose to herself—to deflate and break down like a fragile doll while the enemy ran amok on their land and youths still fought with desperation!

She could face the past and crumble later! But now, she had to fight back!

[Pyretic Hell]

In tandem, the Elektra sisters joined their right and left hands respectively, activating their house's forbidden skill.

But while Elektra learned it faster, Cassandra had always been more compatible with Pyretic Hell, able to use it without any of the drawbacks that other Elektra kin faced. Consequently, her Pyretic Hell was far more powerful than others at the same level.

Elektra now chain-locked Cassandra to herself through Sid Manipulation, enabling her to borrow that compatibility to supercharge her powers.

They didn't have a chance to communicate, yet the sisters worked in perfect synch. And as Cassandra puked blood, her knees buckling under the pressure of the Grand Priestess' suppression, Elektra lunged forth, blitzing Akamana, and hacking at her arm with a gigantic blade of silver flames.

Realizing that for some reason, she could only use a portion of her strength near Mithras, Akamana teleported to a distant particle, sweeping the scene with confusion.

Four times.

In the blink of an eye, her powers had been dominated by human emotions four times.

Ishtar stood beside her brother, in a trance yet still fighting for him while the Elektra sisters had broken the suppression and Mithras almost snapped her hand in two.

This…was incomprehensible. She'd just taken the biggest leap of her existence, so why…was she facing such anomalies?

The Grand Priestess wouldn't have the answer because the moment next, a great sandstorm soared into the sky, rising from the deepest recesses of the royal palace.

Mithras' lips curled up, and he fell to his knees—heaving a sigh of relief.

Barely had the Human Aphrodisiac dropped that two figures appeared in a twister of sand dust.

One, a stunning young woman with bright red hair and slit dragon eyes, flawless curves, and a shy look on her face. The other, a dark-haired bombshell with a pair of golden, feline eyes. The bombshell had a more mature look to her and wore the scarlet and gold of the royal family.

Nagini and Vel'Asha had made their entrance.

But as the Queen Mother's eyes locked on Akamana, her brows furrowed—marking her confusion.

"Who…are you?"
