Allowing Supreme Elder Quan to enter, but telling the rest to wait outside, Xiao Fang watched as she sat on the other side of the desk from him, then stared at him in expectantly. He knew why she came, but he cursed inwardly at the poor timing it was.

Supreme Elder Quan finally broke the silence saying,

"Right, the rest of the High-Grade Spirit Pendants," taking them out one by one, she placed it on his desk before asking,

"So, is he here?"

Xiao Fang didn't even flinch when he saw the pendants, as valuable as they were, he had no use for them since his real body wasn't here.

"He's here," Xiao Fang replied with a light smile.

Supreme Elder Quan looked to her left then right, then asked,

"Where?"

Sliding a blindfold over to her, Xiao Fang replied,

"Master wishes to keep his identity a secret, he hopes you can understand."

Supreme Elder Quan was indignant to put the blindfold on, but she could understand why her benefactor would be so hesitant to reveal his identity. This was a major sect and she was a Supreme Elder after all. Holding it in her hand she replied,

"I understand."

Getting up, Xiao Fang walked over to the door to get Ruo Shi, then instructed her to take Supreme Elder Quan to his chambers, but to take the long way.

Ruo Shi didn't ask any questions, she only gave him a nod.

"Elder, follow disciple Ruo, she'll take you to him," Xiao Fang said.

Supreme Elder Quan was even more nervous now than before as she was clenching the blindfold thinking about meeting her benefactor. She quietly got up and composed herself before putting a light smile on her face.

"Disciple Ruo, please lead the way."

"Yuan Fei, what bring you here," Xiao Fang began to talk to Yuan Fei and Peng Ting, eventually excusing himself once Supreme Elder Quan and Ruo Shi were out of sight.

Standing in front of the magnificent door that led into Xiao Fang's bedroom chamber, Supreme Elder Quan asked Ruo Shi,

"Is this the place?"

"Yes, Supreme Elder." Ruo Shi replied respectfully. She wouldn't dare insult someone as revered as her.

"Very well, you may go."

Waiting for Ruo Shi to leave, Supreme Elder Quan slowly began to push the door open, but before she could she suddenly heard a voice.

{"Miss Quan, I ask that you put the blindfold on before you enter,"}

This alone was proof to her that she was in the presence of someone great. Although it wasn't a commonly known technique in this country, Supreme Elder Quan had enough experiences in this world to know that she was hearing someone send her a [ Spirit Transmision ]. She followed his instructions and walked inside, closing the door behind her. The room was quiet for a few moments before Xiao Fang finally spoke again.

"I… I did, I do," she said nervously. "If I'm honest, I'm surprised you agreed to come see me again."

{"I wish I could say it was because my disciple was very persuasive, but the truth is, if it were anybody else, I certainly wouldn't have come."}

Hearing his words made it very difficult for Supreme Elder Quan to hide her smile, but even harder to hide her flushed cheeks.

"I'm grateful. I didn't get a chance to thank you properly," she spoke in an even softer tone.

{"No need for thanks, what kind of man would I be if I let a young lady as beautiful as you die in front of me."}

"Benefactor, you're too kind," she smiled.

Raising her hand to cover her blushing face, Xiao Fang gently stopped it.

{"Lady Quan, you're a beautiful woman, it would be a shame for you to hide it."}

Supreme Elder Quan bit her lip then nodded.

"Is it really not okay for me to see you," she asked.

{"Now wouldn't be a convenient time for me. One day you will, and when you do, you may not like what you see."} Xiao Fang said, trying to contain his laughter at the thought of her learning his real identity.

"Whatever benefactor looks like, it wouldn't make any difference to me. You saved my life, it's only right that I belong to you," she replied softly, her face blushing redder than before.

Xiao Fang choked. He was having a bit of fun until now, but he didn't mean for it to go this far.

{"We will see if you still feel that way once you learn my true identity. Until then, stay out of trouble. I won't always be there to save you."}

"I will. Benefactor, but before you go, there's something I wish to give you."

Preparing to leave, Xiao Fang paused when he heard her words. What he saw next nearly made him cough out blood.

Opening the door to leave, Xiao Fang said,

Worried about having to meet up with Supreme Elder Song to find the exact beast Xiao Fang had warned her not to fight, she could only think,
