Chapter 159: Children leave the nest to stir trouble
Chapter 159: Children leave the nest to stir trouble
The burly man tried to exhort some money from Yun Jhin because he saved him, but Yun Jhin was currently penniless...
Seeing Yun Jhin's awkward look made the man understand that he was broke, thus he looked into Yun Jhin's eyes and told him:
"Then you have to work on the ship!"
Yun Jhin didn't have time for this bullshit, with his current adult body he could somewhat unleash his soul and this person in front of him was as ordinary as he could be.
A soul tentacle latched onto this person's forehead without him feeling anything as he said afterward:
"Maybe I was a little bit too harsh on you... after all, you almost drowned and your situation was a little bit suspicious... I guess we can give you a ride to the nearest city free of charge!"
Yun Jhin sat on the bed as the burly man left him alone, if he remembered correctly his former reincarnation would leave the city soon, he had got all of the saved money of his current body and he could finally go to a sect so he could cultivate... all orphaned children dreamed of cultivation as it was the only way they could break free of their destiny and become someone important.
There were also the imperial exams but the location where the exams were held was so far away that becoming a pugilistic warrior was easier and not as costly, as long as you could become an earthly practitioner around these parts you would pretty much become a magnate even if you were a measly bandit.
Yun Jhin took in a deep breath as his somewhat injured body returned to its peak state before reaching the 4th stage of the earthly realm in one go, his potential was thus done and some of his life-span was reduced due to the immediate consecutive and forceful breakthroughs but this was to ensure he could get a hold of his former reincarnation and snap his neck.
As long as he could find his location he would be able to easily kill him as his former reincarnation was just a child with no cultivation, even with his normal adult physique he could easily break his neck like a twig, let's not even talk now that he was a cultivator.
If he remembered correctly after he threw his current body in the ocean he had returned to get his stack of stolen money from under the floorboards, under his bed at the orphanage... but there he was ambushed by three of his 'friends' who realized what he had hidden there, orphans were innately survivors so they would do anything to get a better life which meant they had a worse moral compass compared to normal people.
Yun Jhin's ship landed on the docks as he disembarked and started running towards the orphanage, he was at the surface when he was thrown so not much time must have passed before his former reincarnation had returned to the city and the orphanage... if he calculated correctly right now he must have been duking it out with his 'friends'!
Suddenly the window of the orphanage building in front of him broke as a skinny kid with a pale complexion was thrown through it, he was holding his neck where there was a small cut when he saw Yun Jhin running towards the orphanage his eyes glowed as he shouted:
"That nameless bastard has hidden money under the floorboards, Head instructor please do something!"
Yun Jhin ignored the bleeding child as he opened the door of the orphanage and entered to see two workers holding back Yun Jhin and two other children, they were bloody and had some fresh scars around their small bodies, their ragged clothes turned into full rags that couldn't be distinguished as clothes anymore due to the fight.
Yun Jhin's former reincarnation eyes widened as he saw Yun Jhin arriving and opening the door before entering the orphanage... he had made sure he was thrown off into the ocean by that burly fellow he hired using some of the money that he stole from him... his feet were tied with cinderblocks and his head was covered with a cloth sack... his arms were tied to his back and he still swam back to the shore and came to the orphanage?
At this point, Yun Jhin's former reincarnation thought that Yun Jhin was a hidden cultivator! And he wasn't wrong about that.
Yun Jhin didn't care about his image as he quickly went to his former reincarnation and looked down at him... suddenly both of his hands latched on his neck as he tried to break it like a twig!
His former reincarnation tried to fight back so did the two female workers at the orphanage but all they could do was watch on as the life was ripped out of Yun Jhin's body and he died like a dog with a broken neck.
Yun Jhin let the body of the boy go and then waited for himself to be taken out of the trial but he realized that he remained there!
The two female workers were looking at Yun Jhin with fear, they knew about the relationship between the two but they didn't think that the Head instructor would snap one day and kill him in front of everyone!
Yun Jhin snorted as he unleashed his cultivation base making everyone panic and then realize that he was a cultivator!
All the people here were normal but they had met cultivators on many occasions and they knew what type of aura they had so they didn't bother with Yun Jhin anymore... the female workers took the body of his former reincarnation and wanted to bury it but Yun Jhin stopped them and told them that he would do it himself... then they left him alone while taking the two other horrified children away from the entrance of the orphanage.
Yun Jhin took the body to the back of the orphanage then glared at it, he knew he was trying to fake his death at this point, it seemed the near-death situation he put him through had made him unlock his memories! If it was any other normal cultivator they would have buried him by now but Yun Jhin knew he was faking it!
Yun Jhin went towards his body as he put one of his hands on his neck and his other hand on the top of his head, then with a mighty pull he ripped his head off with spine and all!
Blood splattered the ground as the body of Yun Jhin's former reincarnation started to move around like a headless chicken which indicated there was still vitality left in it.
But it soon stopped and dropped to the ground again, now he was fully dead!
Yun Jhin has been finally ejected out of the trial once again and the familiar pain and memories rushed back into his main memory core.
He could feel that this was the last trial just as Hell's willpower said, there was no more darkness around him which meant he cleared it and that he was going through to the next trial.
A voice appeared in his head that made a 'tsk' sound before saying:
"You finally finished the first trial... you are still pretty behind though, I'm quite disappointed that you won't be the one who will inherit my treasures... but you aren't a local anyways, just disappointed though, sometimes you are even wilder than the locals and that's what I like about you."
"Anyway back to the main discussion, the next trial won't be as hard as this former one, all you will have to do is climb a mountain of blades, run through a sea of fire without any type of protective gear on and in the end, you will have to fight it out with the God Realm experts who had done the same trials as you... easy isn't it?"
The voice disappeared without saying anything else as Yun Jhin was left there to prepare for a little bit before he would be thrown to climb a mountain of blades and run through a sea of fire.
These things would be impossible for a normal human but they would be rather simple for someone's of Yun Jhin's capability let's not even talk about those God Realm experts... Hell's willpower didn't explain everything.
Suddenly all of his cultivation was ripped out of his body as he was thrown near a mountain made from blades, he could feel his body turning cold as he looked at the gigantic mountain that he had to scale and after the mountain, a sea of fire appeared out of nowhere...
At this point, Yun Jhin realized more than ever that Hell's willpower was a sadist.
He gritted his teeth as he looked at the mountain of blades and then decided to climb it, when he looked down he realized that he was also buck naked!
Well... this was a willpower test, right?
