Chapter 4031: Battle of Survival I



Finally, my body stopped taking the energy, and I walked out of the pool.

I have no intention of staying a moment longer. Seeing it what is happening with the pool.

I will have to wait till Hayat wakes up.

I really don't want to, but there is no choice. So, I waited with my eyes on Hayat.

A minute passed, and then another.

Soon, it had turned into an hour, but Hayat was still in the pool absorbing massive energies.

Her body shouldn't have been able to take such energy, but she is doing it somehow.

I wish I could see. I am really curious. Unfortunately, I couldn't.

It was an hour and thirty-seven minutes after, I had come out. I felt the energies slowing down before finally stopping. A few seconds after that, she opened her eyes.

She got up without saying, anything and walked out of the pool.

There seemed to be something changed in her. Her eyes seemed to have grown more confident than before. Even her body language had changed.

She stepped out of the pool, and her clothes and then armor appeared on her.

She looked at me, and her lips curved a smile that raised all the hair on my body up, before walking toward the door and placing a key on it.

The door closed, and she walked out. Seeing that, I appeared by the door and stepped inside. Hun!

I stepped out, and immediately my mind shuddered and all the hair on my body stood.

I felt the danger that could kill me, and it was fast and powerful. I have fractions of seconds before it hits me.

The force akin to a falling mountain crashed against me, or rather my shield.

It's good that I had trusted my instinct and had been cautious. If I had not; this attack would have been the end of me.

It was so powerful that it made my shield visible and made it brightly, while I took a step back with shock in my eyes. I am not the only one shocked.

"You defended it?" asked Hayat in shock. Looking at the shield, before turning to me.

The shock in her eyes disappeared a moment later, and a big smile appeared on her face.

"Harvesting you is going to bring me a lot more benefits than I had thought," she said, and a grey aura thick as oil and heavy as a mountain burst out of her.

It was the most powerful aura, I had sensed. Powerful, than Sky Sovereign except for the Shaman.

She is extremely powerful. She wouldn't have any problem in defeating even Aros. She hadn't revealed such strength in the challenges of the castle.

I harnessed the 90% without hesitation. I had never felt such power as I am feeling right now.

She is attacking with a single sabe, unlike the dual ones she had fought within the castle's challenges, and seeing the way, she is wielding it; it's clear, that she is a single-blade wilder. Her skills are much better than when she wielded the dual sabers, which she did with better skills than most Sky Sovereigns.

I reacted instantly, and a great sword appeared in my hand, and I moved to defend against her attack.

For this face, I had planned to use the halberd, but seeing I could not put myself against the slightest disadvantage against her, I decided to use the great sword.

It's my great sword in its shape and weight, the one I am most skilled in.
