Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

Chapter 67 The thug like new arrivals

Lucas went back to the shelter after collecting many different herbs with different abilities.

'These are some common ones found everywhere... using one or two for random experiments will be alright I guess.'

Lucas consolated his heart by thinking that way but if they were to waste then it would be bad.

The herbs for various uses were all around the shelter and also very near. If he were to pluck and use these randomly then he will have to venture out further which by common sense, he won't be able to do alone without risking his life. Discover hidden tales at empire

The day went by normally and everyone slept early as the day tomorrow was going to be taxing.

--

Soon, morning came, and everyone started readying themselves for the travel. Sean was still very snarky but Lucas didn't fall behind in telling John about the 'stab' skill his son had.

The reaction was pretty good and Lucas groaned in annoyance for not having a tub of popcorn.

After the whole conversation that turned into a big argument was over, everyone whether reluctantly or excited ventured into the forest to the same location the previous dungeon was located in.

"Follow quickly" Lucas spoke while pointing at a certain tree John had marked before.

They were in a formation that was like the one they had during the fight with the rapacious plant yet this time, things were different. With the skill upgrade and the demonstration, Barney had shown them. He had a very good boost in the proficiency of his skill. The others had also increased their proficiencies to the point that everyone wanted to have a go in a fight to check on their progress.

Seconds turned to minutes and soon Lucas and John started feeling that they were close. Their instincts were not wrong as the dungeon was just minutes away from visibility.

After five minutes, they could now see the dungeon's dark entrance which brought back some exciting memories for the trio that came before respectively.

"What in the hell is this?" Sean was dumbstruck by a stone entrance right in the middle of a forest that looked very mysterious. Nobody paid heed to him and looked at John and Lucas for further instructions.

"Aunt Ella, you can take care of the traps, and as for the others, stay together and don't freeze like before as it could lead to your deaths this time."

"Okay Lucas, I guess I should handle it from here." John botched the conversation with an awkward smile and continued in a more polite way, " As we have told you before when you get inside that entrance, you will get transported to the dungeon's inside like the time we came here.

Take that as a reference and as a reminder, DON'T go doing things on your own there, the traps are everywhere and one mistake can lead to some severe repercussions."

"That serious repercussion means death," Lucas interjected and was shot a sharp look from John that he tried to ignore as if he had not seen it in the first place.

After John deemed them ready, Lucas and the others traveled toward the dungeon which was some bushes away where they were hiding.

When the group was just a few steps away from the dungeon, a rustle sound came from the right. It didn't take Lucas a single second to equip his sword from the scabbard.

SHING!

His sword made a great sound which made the rustling increase.

"Get in formation! We have something here!" Lucas shouted making the others come out of their daze except John who was ready with the bow already.

"Woah Woah Woah fellas, do you really wanna fight with your own people?" A voice came through the big bushes and it was the point where Lucas didn't know what to say.

"... Human?" He said in a loud voice.

RUSTLE RUSTLE

"Yes~ Yes~ Human if it makes you happy." The voice said again and the next moment, the bushes moved rigorously when a man came out of it.

Lucas still had the sword in his hand but hadn't activated the currents leaving them as his trump card.

The man was 6 feet in height, he looked to be in his 30s and his face was in no way making the situation any better.

There were tattoos everywhere, his neck, face, shoulder, and arms. When Lucas was going to say something to him, some more rustling resounded and many more people came from the bush.

Lucas after looking at them all looked back and made eye contact with John who showed the sign to be patient.

Lucas didn't mind and went to look at the people again. The group of people in front of them in no way looked polite.

They had a savage aura around them which made them look like thugs. Aside from the guy in the front. There were three men and two girls with some very revealing clothes. They wore shorts and half-shirts that showed their belly buttons.

The two girls came and stopped next to the guy in the front and were very close to each of his hands.

"We do not come with trouble, little guy..." The man in the front said with a grin but looking at the eyes, Lucas could tell that they were saying something else.

Suddenly the man looked at the guy in the back who looked to be the same as Lucas. He was wearing a school uniform and his hair was a mess.

The guy's eyes were round in shape making him look very innocent. A cheeky smile formed on his face when suddenly, the guy's left eye started shining.

Lucas didn't know what to do and looked at John again who had no reaction this time.

"Ohoo... what do we have here~ Shelter generation? And one more interesting one... herbalism. Damn, you're packed with skills, bruh, and level 4? nice."

DOOM

Lucas's eyes widened in response but the surprise didn't last long and soon a vein popped out in both his left jaw and forehead.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Lucas's eyes started showing many reddish veins and everyone opposite Lucas's group had a jerk in their spine while looking at those eyes.

Without even knowing, Lucas had an aura of bloodlust around him. He did not know himself but people in front already knew that this guy had the guts to kill.
