Hearing him address the two, Tsunade and the others were stunned.
Even Madara and Hashirama's eyes widened.
Sage of Six Paths? Where was he?
Naruto and Sasuke's expressions remained indifferent, and he replied silently as if lost in thought.
"I'm just removing the threat to the ninja world, it's not out of malice."
The young voice, which should have been sharp and youthful, had now become the voice of an old man, near death.
Kaguya, lying in Colt's arms, came to her senses.
Her eyes gleamed as she muttered a name:
"Hagoromo..."
At the same time, a violent wind suddenly whipped through the air, causing the surrounding crowd to retreat, raising their arms to shield themselves.
Hashirama stood in front of Madara, his Sage Mode emerging, a solemn expression on his face.
"This terrifying Chakra is no less than the previous Ten Tails."
Sasuke and Naruto ignored the others and bowed slightly towards Kaguya.
"Mother, how many years has it been...?"
Kaguya stared at him coldly, her words dripping with contempt:
"In the years I have been sealed, I lived quite well, at the very least Hamura was with me."
"But look at you now. You've become neither human nor a ghost, truly pitiful."
In the face of her cynicism, the Sage of Six Paths remained silent, his thoughts drifting to the
moon.
When he and his brother had sealed their mother, he stayed behind to spread Chakra in the ninja world, while his brother, Hamura, left for the moon to guard Kaguya, driven by guilt. They never saw each other again.
Colt looked at Kaguya curiously.
"Ōtsutsuki Hamura is still alive?"
Kaguya slowly shook her head, speaking softly.
"Hamura only lived for a few hundred years. He couldn't resist the passing of time and died."
"But he left a remnant of his Chakra with me before passing."
In the end, even the night air seemed to grow heavy.
Hamura had fought to seal her, but their companionship over the centuries had softened her resentment.
However, the figure standing before her - her hatred for him only deepened with every passing second.
Sensing this, Colt felt slightly relieved.
It seemed Kaguya was not entirely without compassion.
Maybe the system's task would eventually be completed.
However, when Kaguya had released the tailed beasts and undone the Infinite Tsukuyomi, the system still showed the task as incomplete.
Colt figured Kaguya had only submitted due to his superior strength.
Deep inside, she still held disgust and hatred for the present world.
While the two conversed, another voice broke in.
Uzumaki Kushina glared ahead.
"I don't care if you're the Sage of Six Paths, get out of my son's body!"
Namikaze Minato joined in.
"Sage of Six Paths-sama, you are a legend of the ninja world. Isn't it beneath you to occupy someone else's body like this?"
"What's the point of talking to him at this point, Minato?" Kushina shouted.
"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Several chains with black runes shot out from Kushina, heading straight for Naruto.
She treated the Sage of Six Paths as if he were a tailed beast, trying to forcefully pull him out of Naruto's body.
Sasuke calmly extended his hand, and the Chakra chains halted mid-air, immobilized.
This shocked Kushina.
Her own Chakra was resisting her, not wanting to harm Naruto or Sasuke.
It made sense.
After all, the Chakra of the entire ninja world descended from the Sage of Six Paths.
And with the Uzumaki clan being distant relatives of the Senju, their connection was even
closer.
With no further effort, the Sage of Six Paths easily nullified Kushina's attack.
"Rest assured, I won't harm Naruto or Sasuke. I'm merely borrowing their Chakra for a short
while."
Sasuke extended his right hand, and Naruto stepped forward with his left, forming a seal.
A massive white god-like figure appeared behind them, linking their Chakra.
At the same time, they turned to Kaguya, who had been watching them closely.
"Mother, this world isn't a nursery for the Ōtsutsuki clan. Your thirst for Chakra will destroy it
all."
"Please, return to the moon. It's for your own good."
As Naruto and Sasuke began to seal Kaguya, a suction force began to pull at her, causing the earth to tremble.
"Stop!" Colt's Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan flared, blocking the force that was pulling Kaguya, as
he glared at the Sage of Six Paths.
"You dare touch the one I already promised to protect?"
Sasuke frowned, staring at Colt with a strange expression.
This Chakra... it felt eerily similar to his own.
A Sage's body, godly eyes, immense Chakra, and an unparalleled presence in the ninja world. Could Colt be the reincarnation of some latent Chakra he had left behind?
"Colt, you don't understand. Mother is not inherently evil, but her very existence is a threat to
the ninja world."
Because of their similarities, the Sage of Six Paths spoke patiently, explaining his reasoning.
"I sealed Mother not just to protect the world, but also to protect her."
Colt raised an eyebrow.
"Kaguya has promised me she won't harm the world again."
"I've even convinced the people of this world. So why do you feel the need to interfere?"
The Sage of Six Paths remained calm, using Sasuke to reply.
"Mother is immortal. She will live for eternity. Maybe you've subdued her now, but what happens when you grow old or die? Who will ensure she doesn't turn her gaze back to the
world?"
"As a protector of peace and order, I must prevent that from happening."
The crowd began to murmur, their concern now directed at Colt.
"That's true,"
"We can't think just about the present..."
"Yeah, at the very least she should be sealed..."
The Sage of Six Paths had a point.
Colt was strong and could handle Kaguya for years, perhaps decades, but what about after
that? Without someone powerful enough to keep her in check, the ninja world would be at her
mercy once more.
Hearing this, Colt scratched his head awkwardly and replied with a shy grin:
"I forgot to mention... my lifespan is also endless."
