"What will you do tomorrow Tia? Isn't it a holiday for you?"

"What else? I'll just stay in my room and read, and sleep a little since the last few days haven't been very nice to me."

"Oh? Do you wanna come over-."

"Absolutely not! I know we will just end up playing around or reading useless things if I do that! We don't want that! Besides! What about your test!"

Tia and Quin were chatting as they walked out of the academy premises.

The two of them were the only ones together right now since the others were either back to their dorms or were still inside the academy, chatting about their tests today and the kind of things that were asked to them.

"Hehe, I know I know. I'm just kidding~. Anyway. Do you think Chry will like it if I drop by? I have the Political Science paper tomorrow. Do you think he'll give me some pointers since he has already given the paper?"

"Hmm… I don't know really."

Since the last few days, they hadn't had the chance to sit together and simply chat about mundane things.

With the tests going on and with the different holidays that they all were getting, just like right now, few of them ever got to be together before test time and that was also for a short time.

Everyone had different papers and even if they had any common papers, since they all had learned how their papers would be different from one another, there wasn't much that they could help each other with.

There was only a few things that they got in common in each of the tests and those things had different meanings for them as well.

Most of the papers that they have had until now were all either highly difficult, or were simply weird and strange.

They did not understand a lot of things that were asked in their tests, they also had no idea what kind of test they were going to get next.

On some days, they got simple tests that only had theoretical questions that they could answer easily while on some bad days, they got questions that were simply outrageous.

Many times, they also got practical questions where they had to make somethig out of the materials provided to them or out of the materials present in their testing zones.

Be it Lucifer and Uriel or Alf and Bell, or Carla and Quin and Chry, all of them faced difficulties during these tests.

Clara, who had prepared for her practical papers, was asked theory questions that she had not papered for at all, while Alf was also asked to demonstrate spells through an incomplete formula provided to him as perfectly as he possibly could.

These questions, though difficult in their own ranks, when presented to different people who were prepared for different things, produced completely different reactions from them.

They faced difficulties, and they were either tired or frustrated at the questions that were asked to them, but they finished their tests… using the holidays that they got between some of the tests to refresh their minds, take out their frustration on various 'objects' in the outskirts of the island, or doing things that at least cheered them up a little.

Lucifer and Uriel helped them if things were getting too difficult for them, or if they needed help with anything, even if it interfered with their own test preparations.

The two of them spent their own breaks differently with Eon reserching the smaller states across the world for any signs of the Cultists, and Rein spent her time hindering Eon and making sure he couldn't prepare for his test on that day.

She also went on a walk to the outskirts of the island, went to their house to see the progress they had made, but before she could cross over the boundary, she had to come back since Eon had finished his test early.

He most definitely did that to block her from going there, perhaps to keep it a surprise or something, but she didn't mind it.

She came back and then she bothered him again, making sure his evening and night was runined thoroughly.

Carla and Alf on the other hand prepared for their following papers seriously. They had seen and experienced just how difficult these tests could be so they didn't want to take any more chances and simply devoted their time to preparation.

Liz was getting bored of these tests because even if she studied, she knew most of things would still be easily answerable through common knowledge and her experances.

She wasn't much worried about the tests themselves but the fear of making a silly mistake bothered her, so she spent her free day meditating and clearing her mind.

Hide spent a day in library for the first time on his holiday… though it wasn't because he was studying for his tests.

All tests were the same for him. They were all simple and straightforward. Even if the questions asked to him were complicated, he still answered them the way he wanted instead of answering what was asked in those specific questions.

He wasn't bothered by it since he knew the kind of marks he was going to receive already so, he spent his day in the library, with a few beautiful ladies that he had met a while back.

The ones who were Closer, Bell and Alf, Prince Alph and Ezra, all of them only got the weekend to spend any time together since none of them got any extra holidays between their papers in common.

Except for Jen and Ginger, the rest of them had different extra holidays but they still somehow fond some time to be together.

They still had one more test to pass before their last paper and many students including Tia were going to have a holiday tomorrow, but sadly, Many of them were going to have a paper tomorrow and perhaps the day after as well.

Lucifer, Uriel, Zoe, Liz, even Prince Claud and Mia were going to have a paper tomorrow so they won't be able to meet up either.

Thankfully, all of the students were going to have their Economy and Currency paper together so they will be together on the last day… and, they were planning a party before departing as well.

They weren't going to see each other for a while now so, even though many of them were going to be together, their group will be scattered all over the world once again.

Eon and family will be in the north of western continent, Luna and captain Alpha were going to go to the northern continent, Ezra was going to visit Roxana since Prince Alpheus wanted her to meet his family, and with Mia and Deleon going on their separate trips, with Liz going with Med, with Tia going back to her own house, they weren't going to see each other anytime soon.

They were only together for a few days now, so, they wanted to make their last day on this island together a little special.

Eon had planned a few things, Rein had improved on those few things as well, so they were going to have a good time together… but before that, they still had two more papers left.

"Haaa. See you later, Tia."

"See ya~." Tia wanted to sleep for ten hours if she could.

They would prepare for tomorrow after they spend their night though, and after that, after their last individual papers, some would be free once again.

They had many tests together at the start and even had tests when others had holiday but now that they had so many holidays together, they knew they were going to slack off on the last day.

But they did not want that.

Even their previous papers were tough and difficult so instead of being lazy at this crucial moment, they were better off doing something productive.

Their next test will be important for them while their last test the day after overmorrow, will be their last day together on the island.

Some will stay behind, but most of them were going to go so, academy also advised the others to go and see some other place around the world.

Some teachers would organise a trip for those who were going to stay behind, so they could join on that, but not many from their group would join the teachers.

At least, not this time…

They were returning after a tough cooking test that, strangely, was theoretical for him.

He was looking forward to creating something amazing once again, but sadly, he had no choice but to make those things on paper instead.

"Captain Alpha?"

Rein had went ahead with Liz and Zoe so Lucifer was walking at the back. He was in his own rhythm when Captain Alpha ran up to him from behind. Enjoy new tales from empire

"Do you have a minute, Lucifer? I wanted to ask you something."

"Oh? Yeah, sure."

Captain Alpha did not have a paper today so it was quite a surprise to see him here. But it wasn't that big a deal so Lucifer continued walking and captain walked along with him as well.

Tomorrow was going to be the last individual paper for both of them while Uriel will have her Weapon understanding paper the day after that. Except for the students who were part of an outdoor class, the rest of us will have the morning and afternoon of the day after overmorrow free.

The rest will have to spend their night the day after tomorrow outdoors, so they won't get to have a break for the entire morning , but they will still have enough time to recover for the last common test.

At least most of them will…

"Do you know anything about the east side outskirt marshlands?"

For those whose loved ones were going to spend a night outside in the outskirts of the island, the night of the day after tomorrow was going to be a difficult time.

"Oh?"

And for some, it was going to be the opportunity that they had been searching for…
