Hmm, I guess there's no way to avoid having to take another Tribulation. I might as well start using the Technique now. Adopt the Technique, System.

Compared to the simple process when he swapped his Uncommon Cultivation Technique with the Epic-Ranked Mana Devourer, William's body took much longer to grow accustomed. Only after a full three days had passed did William actually fully regress to the first stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

His Lifespan dropped from a maximum of 18,000 years to 16,000, while William's Health and Mana Reserves remained the same. The largest change was William's Cultivation Base, which could store twice as much Spirit Qi as before at a hundred million.

Other than that, the requirements to reach the second stage were five million Spirit Qi, which was half as much as it would have taken to reach Soul Formation 2, but five times as much as progressing through the Nascent Soul Realm.

That being said, William wasn't worried at all. The Agemo Primordial Compression Technique allowed him to refine and absorb twenty-five thousand Spirit Qi per minute, which was almost a thousand times faster than his old Technique.

If he Cultivated for an hour, he would earn 1.5 million Spirit Qi, meaning he could reach the next stage in less than four hours! If anyone in the Mortal Realms were to hear that William could Cultivate most of the Nascent Soul Realm in a single day, they would probably want to die in regret.

How long would it take me to reach the peak? A month? Two months? William didn't know the answer, but he was excited to find out.

He used his new Cultivation Technique to absorb all twenty-five Greater Veins at the same time, allowing the System to take the Primordial Mana for itself since absorbing it was too dangerous. At the same time, William pulled in the surrounding Mana and compressed it into Spirit Qi at a reduced rate of five thousand a minute.

In this manner, William was able to both Cultivate and absorb the Greater Veins simultaneously, even progressing with the System Quest faster than before. It only took William four days to absorb every Greater Vein, his Cultivation Base reaching 28.8 million Spirit Qi.

Before the System began absorbing the Superior Cores, William used 26 million Spirit Qi to return to the fifth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm. Each upgrade costed one million Spirit Qi more than the last, which meant to reach the sixth stage he needed nine million Spirit Qi.

Compared to the months spent trying to reach the Soul Formation Realm before, this was nothing! William even enjoyed the feeling, since his strength had improved dramatically since swapping out his Cultivation Technique.

He didn't forget to look at the bonus effects of the Cultivation Talent, which had been improved since upgrading his Technique.

William was originally checking the Cultivation Talent to see how powerful the Natural Spirit Aura would be after acquiring a Mythical Technique, but he was surprised to see that he had also satisfied the requirements to view the Cultivation Talent's rank up.

Since I'm in the fifth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm right now and I have a Mythic Technique, my Natural Spirit Aura should be ten stages above me, equal to Soul Formation 5.

If I can reach the peak of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm, my Natural Spirit Aura would be equal to the peak of the Ascension Realm!

But that's not all, I can actually upgrade my Cultivation Talent right now! System, let's do it!

Does this mean I can absorb Chaotic Qi now? William asked as he looked at the Ascended Bonus of the Cultivation Talent. It was the first Ascended Talent he had that didn't have a group of question marks concealing its details.

-No. You're still not strong enough.

Damn... William didn't think about it too much and allowed the System to absorb the Superior Cores. In the meantime, he looked at his other Talents and set aside the Resistance Talents that he would be able to upgrade in the Mortal Realms.

The stained glass was something he could refine himself in a matter of minutes, while he already had Lead Ore in his possession. Even if he didn't, his Earth Affinity was enough to create lead on its own.

He was currently in the process of absorbing the Superior Wind Vein, and the Water Vein was in the Ocean and could be easily accessed afterwards.

The Appearance Restoration Pill was something that William had been planning to refine for a while now, but he was just missing one material for the Tier 10 Pill: A Superior Life Shard. He already knew where to find them, though, so that also wasn't an issue.

Other than those Resistances, William only needed to spend twenty thousand of his Soul Strength and fully comprehend the Gravity Element, then he would have every Ascended Resistance Talent available to him!
