That hurt Rain's leg quite a bit, but it gave him four seconds to keep attacking the monster… little by little the body of the creature began to fall apart as more cracks appeared. Still, all of a sudden, the monster began to restore its body for no apparent reason… it seemed that the golem masters that were hidden suddenly became more skilled…

"The Gemini tribe, huh?" Rain thought while squinting his eyes. "Well, no matter… I wasn't expecting an easy job, anyway."

Rain kept punching nonstop, and by ignoring the hands of the monster trying to smash him, he was able to attack more and more. The pain clouded Rain's mind and made his punches heavier to the point that even the strikes of the giant eventually lost their power.

All of a sudden, Rain grunted with all his might and punched the beast that ended up paralyzing it completely… in the next moment, a huge crack began to spread across the monster's body and when Rain attacked again, the monster stopped moving.

The Golem, once strong and solid, began to break apart. Chunks of stone fell to the ground, and the golem wobbled as if it might collapse at any moment. Rain's punches damaged the golem's weak spots, making it crumble piece by piece.

Finally, with one last powerful punch, the golem fell apart completely. It turned into a pile of broken stones and dust. Everyone watching was amazed at what Rain had done. He had defeated the giant golem with his fists alone, and the battlefield was filled with the remains of the shattered creature. "I guess I didn't get that much more experience because this thing was equivalent to one hundred or so golems," Rain thought.

The city went silent as the golem finally could be seen on the ground while dust was being spread around in all directions. Thanks to that, the magic people suffered a huge shock and the raging Phoenix was able to capitalize on that… dozens of enemies were killed in the next few seconds, but soon things got equal again when some of the council leaders joined the fray.

At that point in time, they knew that they couldn't avoid a confrontation against Rain.

While using the blood of their fallen comrades, the blood mages summoned several blood golems to attack the warriors and while they had been trained to fight pretty much anything, they were caught off guard when they saw that… due to the shock, the quicksand executioner's had the chance to create pits under their feet and make them lose their balance.

Rain quickly prepared to charge at the council members, but soon he realized that something was off… they knew of his speed… So why were they exposing themselves?

"Is this a trap?" Rain frowned. "If I can't use magic and I can only attack directly… then…"

That was truly suspicious… could it be that they had prepared for an invasion like that? At that point in time, Rain couldn't help but think that they became as smart as Joanis when it comes to surprising their enemies.

"I don't know if they managed to pull that off yet… they didn't send the sign yet, but we need to be cautious," Rain thought. "Fall back!"

Rain tried to sound as nervous as he could, but his warriors understood the message and slowly began to retreat while taking steps backward… for that kind of situation, he devised some strategies, like three types of retreat orders. The level one was the order Fall Back, they had to retreat, but the level of urgency wasn't high.

The second level was Retreat, it was supposed to be used in Dangerous situations of intermediary level, like when a new force is approaching and the final one was Withdrawal. In order to avoid dangerous situations like pincer attacks or enemies approaching, the ones that could fly.

Little by little, the warriors began to retreat and the magic people began to like the fight, but when they exposed themselves too much, Rain would quickly approach them and crush their skulls with a single punch.

Only when the warriors left the barrier was when Rain decided to do his final test… he charged toward the council members and then punched one so hard that they spin in the air for dozens of meters before exploding…

The chaotic explosion seemed to defy the laws of physics, painting the heavens in surreal, vivid shades of purple that seemed to dance and expand.

As the energy unfurled in the atmosphere, a powerful shockwave reverberated through the city. Buildings trembled, and the ground beneath quivered as though the very earth were awakening. People in the streets and houses gazed up in shock and disbelief, their faces illuminated by the purple spectacle. Some ran for cover, fearing the unknown force, while others stood in sheer amazement.

"Why am I not surprised... I shouldn't have tried to hard to send that asshole falling... it would have been better if his allies had died in the explosion," Rain thought while frowning.
