Chapter 100: I know you
Chapter 100: I know you
"I see... Of course, he must've chosen a few ghosts for himself, then let them increase their strength through the arena... Now that I think of it, it should happen soon," Reylin contemplated loudly.
He understood the necromancer's plan.
This dungeon allowed ghosts to become stronger by fighting through the undead. If he was really well-versed in undead, he would control the undead as well and just boost ghosts under his rule.
"This place is really a treasure vault for him," Reylin said and stood up.
"Are you going to fight him?" Callan asked, his eyes on Reylin's face.
"I have to deal with him until he becomes too much of a problem. You also prepare to kill a few undead and become stronger," Reylin replied.
He was already before the bathroom doors and promptly opened them.
Emilia immediately shifted her eyes to him.
She was wholly in the water other than her face, and her naked body shone in the darkness.
Reylin ran a few circles across her nude self, making a few breaks on either her tits and nether region, then said, "Dress up. We are leaving."
"Ah... Yes... Give me a minute!" Emilia stared at him, then promptly became serious.
She didn't expect Reylin to control his feelings that well. Frankly, Emilia expected him to join her bath, but he went straight to the business.
Emilia blamed herself for being too loud as she had no way of listening to their conversation from the bath!
Reylin sneered, "Just a minute? Are you really a woman?"
"Huh? You rascal! What does that mean?!" Emilia grasped her gun and pointed it at him!
"I thought you would want to dry your hair or something. Actually, I can land you a hand with it. I am sure you have taken a liking to my pats," Reylin made a gun out of his fingers and shot an imaginary bullet at Emilia.
She had received it and looked down, "I planned to go with wet hair, but I might get sick... Yes, I will take on your offer!"
"Good girl," Reylin chuckled and approached her.
-
After an hour, Reylin and Emilia left the house.
They had an additional ghost behind, and it seemed like a strong party! Of course, these ghosts could fight as well, and it would be a valuable help should they face the necromancer and his undead army.
A few minutes after they had left the house, loud drumming swept through the dungeon and its dark city.
Reylin and Emilia weren't familiar with this sound, but their ghosts were.
Callan said, "The Arena has begun... I wonder how many ghosts will actually face themselves right now..."
"Haha," Reylin laughed. "Our Necromancer will come to us instead. This is good timing."
"Right?" Emilia shared his enthusiasm and smiled while looking at her gun.
Their confidence matched, and Emilia even smiled like Reylin! She was too much into him than she expected, and her attitude showed it.
The ghosts just smiled and began gathering their army of undead.
It was a fairly substantial army, with three of them working under one banner.
A sharp army under the hero's lead moved on the left. They were slightly behind Callan's army, which was close to a suicidal team... And behind them, Emilia's ghost commanded undead and gave them her long-distance skills.
Their unique skills were a messy combination on their own, but they would become even more dreadful if they worked together!
Numbers and uniqueness moved under Reylin's banner.
"Oh... I see him," Reylin brought his hand to his forehead and looked afar. "That's the real undead army. Heh, dropping a few bombs at them would put the best horror movies to shame."
Emilia bit her lips as she eyed the army.
Other than the common undead she had seen so far, five giant zombies were marching across the city.
They were a mess made out of many zombie bodies glued together through Necromancer's skill. She counted at least twenty heads on one giant zombie, and that was just a front!
Emilia also saw skeletons wearing armors made out of bones.
Those bones were black and bigger! They were made out of the burial ground dungeon's skeletons and enhanced through the necromancer's skills.
Behind an army, skeleton archers also boasted high equipment.
They had bows made out of bones and zombies' tendrils. Their arrows had skull heads on a tip, and they were gnawing non-stop!
One skull arrow was enough to eat the whole zombie!
"I know you," Necromancer said, his black eyes on Reylin.
Reylin saw that and chuckled, "Oh, do you? Well, you must be a guy behind dark waves then."
"Precisely," Necromancer nodded, his whole appearance hidden beneath black robes.
Reylin clapped his hands, "That was quite a show. You have failed so miserably other players accepted all waves with open arms.
Yes, that was a mistake.
It still doesn't change the fact that you were a loser.
Now, I feel much more confident about going against you." Reylin smiled while his flames howled to mock the necromancer!
Behind his hoodie, the necromancer's face contorted with ire, "You dare disparage me?"
"Who wouldn't? Everyone from that dark matter wave would look down on you, you loser," Reylin sneered, then turned around.
He expected Emilia to be worried about her safety.
[????? Lv. 100 HP: ??? MP: ???]
Of course, that status window belonged to the necromancer.
Thus, Reylin assumed Emilia would be pretty worried about her safety.
What he saw was different, however.
Emilia smiled at him faintly, "Yes, we are going to fight him."
She didn't tremble but faced Reylin while standing straight. Her face radiated confidence and added another charm to her beauty that kindled Reylin's heart.
He stared into her and felt his flames becoming stronger. It was as if pouring more mana into his own flames was much easier due to such a reliable partner.
Emilia continued, "I won't be a burden, and I will take more undead than all our ghost allies will. Well, knowing you, you will just recklessly throw yourself at those zombies, so I got your back, Reylin."
"That's my priestess," Reylin pulled her closer and invited for a deep kiss.
He held her body without any lustful thoughts behind, albeit his deeds indeed looked so. He was much more content with Emilia, and that felt like a natural course of action.
An honest pyromaniac followed his instincts and flared Emilia's heart.
She stared into his eyes and said, "There are much better things to do outside, so let's wrap it up today, okay?"
"I can read your eyes, Emilia. So eager to have fun on a soft bed?" He chuckled and slapped her bottom.
Emilia left his embrace, and Reylin shifted his eyes to Callan, "Keep your undead close to me. You and Emilia can fuel me the best, and it's time to spread fire widely."
Callan nodded, "Understood."
"Showtime."
