None of the people in the room could refute his arguments. If what he was telling was true and those girls were staying with him, they wouldn't be able to snoop around in fear of triggering his suspicion.

" So, do you think we should do something more? Will you be able to handle the situation?" Gerard asked seriously, it shocked everyone including Nathaniel's father. It was a heavy responsibility even by his standards.

" I will make preparations but I don't want to use sneaky tactics like supplying girls to implicating him. I can nudge them but I-"

Gerard suddenly laughed feeling why Nathaniel was being so hesitant. These starlets went through hell and back just to make a name in the industry. The grim reality was that everyone knew about various inside dealings in the industry.

Knowing the exploitative nature, most of them perceived these girls as vengeful by the time they reach the top, could they blame them? No matter how hard they tried if they were not unique, their career were firmly held in the hands of few agency. In a place where evil was pervasive, there were only a few decent people who abide the rules while rest of it was free for all.

Chanel had it's own dark history but Gerard always tried to stay fair trying to harbour goodwills as much as he could. These 'products' would come and go but he knew that his company need to stand firm to ride to higher success. Coincidentally, he also knew that he shouldn't treat them as commodity because these evil acts were bound to catch up to those abusing their power in the future.

He always instilled this face in the leadership faction but there were always some bad apples in the mix, still he always dealt with them harshly to make an example of things.

Now receiving Nathaniel's challenge he was happy instead of scolding him. Using these girls just because they had some power over them through contracts was indeed a bad choice but what if these proud girls made a move themselves?

Nathaniel didn't understand why his uncle was laughing. This was a serious matter even in his eyes. Although he liked to flaunt around, he never took advantage of anyone and sure as hell stayed away from any popular models knowing that he wouldn't be able to handle them.

They suddenly realised that even when he was widely known, no one had seen him. Samuel had appeared in magazines and even in interviews but strangely there were no actual photos of him online. Some that did exist in his fanclub which was regularly updated but other than that they wouldn't get any search results.

When Gerard mentioned it, they took out their fancy phones to confirm this fact and were shocked to see that it was true.

Before Gerard could say anything Alain made them aware of the fact that the renowned search engine, Google was aquired by the boy when he was just twelve years old. As Yahoo was still going strong at that time and it was right after the dot com bubble, everyone lost trust in these technological companies.

Now no one could question his decision as it had doubled it's value several times becoming the largest search engine in the world. Being the owner, it was not hard to guess why there was such a anamoly in the system.

" Now you understand why everyone is scared of him right? Even among top elite children he is deemed exceptional. In a decade, no one knows how far his achievements would go but that's not the most impressive thing about him." Alain paused and looked at his brother who gave him a nod.

Then Alain started explaining Samuel's characteristics, they were surprised hearing Alain describe him as the most handsome man in the world to corroborate hos story he even brought up a photo of him after going through his official fanclub.

Nathaniel who had only seen half of his face knew that Samuel must have good looks but even then, he could never have imagined his original appearance.

The room turned silent again that's when Gerard started speaking, " There is no time to marvel at him. It's up to you now that you know what you are up against. Just remember not to make him our enemy, of he ask for something you can fully extend our help. You can later report it to me or your father."

He looked at their faces seeing if anyone has any more question before adjourning the meeting. Everyone left to do their job, dealing with Samuel was only possible when they made their preparation for the lavish party.

With only few days left, they cared less about a perceived threat than to their actual work. Gerard stood up facing the window when his brother asked if his sonnwas ready for wuch a huge responsibility.

Gerard only smiled and said," Sooner or later the baby bird had to leave it's nest. I just hope that he could live a good life different from what we experienced."

Alain looked at his brother with a grateful eyes. Even after countless fights and arguments, their brotherly bond was still as strong as they first took over the company from their father. Both knew that in few years they too had to make the same decision, it was only right for them to train a successor.

They began to reminisce about their past completely leaving the situation in Nathaniel's hands who was now rushing to venue location first. He wanted to meet Lucie first to see what he was dealing with.
