Alain wanted to say something else but he stopped himself. He later put Lucie aside and said a few words. Samuel knew that Wertheimer family was a major sponsor of this event and Lucie being one of the main planner of the event had to ultimately report to him.

He didn't care much that's when he was approached by Nathaniel who was holding his head low trying to act all meek and respectful. He knew that the other party was trying to apologize but before he could say anything, Samuel interrupted him.

" It's fine. There is no need to make a big deal out of this."

" Still, I am sorry. I didn't know that even my father-"

" He is a friend. You don't need to lower yourself in front of me. I don't like such obvious flattery. Just be careful in the future, there are some forces who wouldn't hesitate to...make a move. Flaunting your wealth is one thing but you have to be aware of there are many people in the world that would disregard or even use the situation against you."

" I understand. I still don't know who you are?"

" Ask your father and also don't try to pick up girls so blatantly. Looks could be deceiving, it might get you into trouble in the future."

Samuel gave him few 'lessons' while Lucie finished her business. It's only because he felt sorry for the old man, he had seen too many people ruin themselves chasing girls. Even Alan, Delphina's sister was facing the same fate. At least the person in front of him looked decent with a chance of turning his life around.

Soon, Lucie came back and they left after saying their goodbyes. If Alain could, he would have gave Lucie few days off but she was a critical person who was aiding with the fashion show. Without her, there was little chance of them getting everything done before deadline.

" Why are you looking at me like this? Did he say something strange?" Samuel noticed Lucie's glittering eyes discerningly looking at him.

" It's fine if it's something that you can't tell me, you don't have to say it." He wasn't forceful with his employee they were allowed to have a personal life.

" It's not a secret. I suddenly think that my boss is much more overbearing that I first thought. I mean, Alain and his family is one of the wealthiest people in this country and even among the top fifty in the world. He also appears to be aloof and high minded but since he knew that I was working for you, he became meek as a cow!"

Wertheimer family was indeed wealthy. Being the owner of Chanel luxury brand itself brought them billions in profit each year not to mention they had a ownership of over ninety percent in the brand. After Alain father died, the shares were divided among the family member which shrink their individual wealth but they were not fragmented because of the inheritance.

It was the reason why they were so well respected in the industry, they had ingenuity and talent for business as both brother taking the helm of the company their grandfather created and took it to new peak over the years.

It's just that these public wealthy people were not as impressive in Samuel's eyes. He knew about the hidden giants in the industry who controlled vast amount of wealth from the shadow. He just met one of them, the head of Newhouse from whom he acquired the WMG label. From his understanding these people were much more dangerous.

" I am not a overbearing boss as people make like to believe. Didn't they pulled a gun on me and I let them live? Did you see that happening if someone else was in my place?" Samuel shrugged. He tried to level headed especially since he started getting agitated when he was angry or overly excited hoping to stiffen his growing powers.

" That may be so but I don't think that you were ever in danger. If not you wouldn't have asked to transfer his security team as ransom. Who is so eccentric as to hire the people that tried to kill him?" Lucie chuckled.

" It's not that simple. The situation was accidental and I have a plan to use these people. Do you think your boss is stupid? Didn't I buy a new castle? I will post these people there to protect it from any rash intruders."

" Security guard? But can you trust them?" Lucie didn't understand why he would do such a thing. Even if the castle was only one of his properties, having his own people was more reassuring right?

" It's not something you can understand right now. Many things will reveal itself in due time for now it's above your pay grade."

" Is there such a thing?"

Samuel didn't want to go into detail about his reasoning. It was simple he didn't want the infamous ghost soldiers gather dust protecting his castle which he would visit once or twice in a year. They were far too valuable for such a job.

His asking for Raphael and his team was related to it. He had seen his loyalty and knew that Raphael wouldn't betray him easily. He could only become another backup plan other than Zero's AXA guild that he could rely on in the future. It would also help him to cause much attention toward himself.

Seeing Samuel not answering her, she changed the subject finally discussing the elephant in the room. The group of five young girl who were currently in a fever discussion with Elise. She was giving them a run down about her recent visit to Rothschild estate, how she met horses, baby deer and even wolves!

" They sure are attractive. I didn't get a clear look at them but they each have their own 'strengths'." Samuel commented. He had to admit, Nathaniel's temptation to court these young ladies were not without reason.
