Chapter 119: Rhiannon's bracelet
Chapter 119: Rhiannon's bracelet
Xinya along with the other's begin following Elaine to the medbay. The walk itself was very short and they arrived at the red and white tent in no time at all. Walking inside the medbay, Xinya looked around and saw that it looks like a small hospital.
Still following Elaine, he walked over to the bed where the Mayor was lying in. A female soldier was by his side, making sure he was covered completely by a blanket before leaving.
The Mayor hearing the group's footsteps, turned his head towards them, a smile gracing his face when he saw his daughter. Gesturing his hand, he motioned for her to quickly come over to him.
Elaine proceeded to walk quickly over to her father's side, happy to see him doing better than he was before when he told her to bring the group who saved him. With a bright smile on her face, she begins introducing Xinya's group to her father.
"Father, these are the people who saved you," Elaine told her father while pointing to Xinya and his friends.
The Mayor looked at the four of them and smiled, "I would like to thank you all for what has done for me. If it wasn't for you four the Tall Man would be still pretending that he was me, and the town would have become utterly ruined. I offer you my most sincere gratitude."
"You are welcome, we are just happy that we could help, "Xinya told the Mayor, with a polite smile on his face.
"Yes, what, Drifting Cloud said," The rest of the group said in tandem.
The Mayor thought that this group of youngsters was truly kind individuals and wanted to reward them for their help. That's when he remembers the bracelet he got when he was younger from saving a young fae from danger. The fae said it would transport him to somewhere special, but he could never figure out how it works. He thought that these youngsters might be able to.
"I would still like to thank you for what you did for me and the town, please accept this as a reward." The Mayor said as he removed a silver bracelet from his arm with a floral design, holding it out to the youngsters.
Walking forward, Xinya took the bracelet from the man's hand, with a thank you. Once the bracelet was in Xinya's hand a notification appeared:

After talking for about thirty minutes, the group once again thanked the man for his kind reward, before saying farewell and parting from Elaine and the Mayor. Leaving the medbay the group was feeling happy that they completed the quest. It had been a long ordeal for all of them and they were glad that it was finally over.
As they walked together aimlessly through the village, Wei asked, "What kind of shop do you think the bracelet will give us access too?"
"I don't know, but I bet it will have wonderful items." Wandering Sound said.
"Me too," Melting Snow said, bouncing around the three of them. "I hope it has all kinds of rare monster pets."
"Well we need to save up some coin before activating it, I have a feeling that the items inside the shop will be expensive," Xinya told them.
Knowing that Xinya was right, Wei said, "What should we do now, that we finished the quest?"
"Well, we still need to complete the treasure dungeon and to do that we need to backtrack to Errinisworth. How about we log out for now before we start heading back." Xinya said.
The group felt that it was a good idea since they all needed to log out soon anyway. After saying goodbye to each other, they each begin to log out of the game.

Xinya and Wei were both sitting in the living room looking at their cell phones. After coming out of the VR pod, ten minutes ago, the two of them began talking about the treasure dungeon and what they would be facing in a low level one.
Neither of them knew since they only watched videos on the higher tier ones, so Wei took it upon herself binge-watch a couple before they went back into the game. Xinya, on the other hand, wanted to check the forums, because this was the second time he participated in a game-changing quest.
Xinya wanted to see if anyone was talking about him and his friends, as he scrolled through the forums, what he saw made him very glad that players names weren't visible to other people. Posts were asking to buy information on the four of them, people who were leaving their ingame name so that his group could add them in the game, but that wasn't the worst of it.
People knew who Wandering Sound was and was putting his picture up on the forums, Xinya knew that when he logs back on the game he will have to convince Wandering Sound to get a mask. If he doesn't they would all be recognized sooner or later, which Xinya didn't want happening right now.
Putting down his cell in a huff, he decided to just go to the kitchen and make himself something to eat before he heads back into the game. He would worry about Wandering Sound being too recognizable later.
