Chapter 129: E-rank mage
[Summon Undead (Rankless)
Cost: Blood.
Effect: By using blood as a sacrifice, the Guardian can summon undead skeletons and warriors from the Blood Ritual!
Guidance: Using more blood results in a far powerful Undead than one summoned through a small amount of blood]
To his surprise, Whittaker had all information about the blood ritual. It was as if it was a part of his memories. Right after, his gaze moved to the second bloodline ability
[Unparalleled Will of Night (Rankless)]
Cost: Soul Force, battle energy, and mana
Effect: After the skill is used, the Guardian defenses increase to 100% for a certain time limit.
Guidance: Using more soul force, mana, and battle energy increase the time limit of the skill].
"Good enough!" Whittaker thought with a smile. Right after he closed his eyes while thinking, "Now, I should try to make a breakthrough to E-rank mage!"
An hour later, Whittaker exhaled a warm breath filled with impurities while opening his eyes.
Ding! The Guardian has meditated in the Grand Vortex Creation skill for an hour
The Guardian has gained 30 Units of mana
[Mana point increased: 9991029. Total mana points 1129/2000]
Due to Mana-devouring hair, Whittaker had 100 units of mana in his hair. That's why his total mana point was 100 units more than the amount of mana present in his mana pool.
Whittaker's legs were numbed so he moved about to let blood flow. Whereas Noah kept on announcing more good news to the young snowy-haired boy.
Congratulations on advancing into the E-rank mage. The guardian has completed the Main Quest activated: Advance into an E-rank mage
Rewards Obtained: 200 XP, E-ranked spellbook.
Experince point increased: 700900
The spellbook has been stored in the inventory! Noah notified.
Whittaker opened the inventory and took out the book to take a look at it.
[Healing touch (E-rank)
Cost: Mana
Effect: Once activated, the Guardian's hands glow with the power of healing. The Guardian can heal bruises and low-level wounds by massaging the wounded area and much more
Guidance: The effect of the spell increases with the amount of mana used during the healing process.]
It was a healing type technique that utilized hand signs and body massage to heal injuries such as bruises and cuts. "It's only E-rank but it has such good healing effects, I wonder what this skill peak healing effect will be. Sadly, I don't have enough Skill Development points to learn this skill!" Whittaker thought while placing the book in his ring of genesis.
The book cost 1 Skill development point to learn and Whittaker didn't even have that. But all hope wasn't lost as he was only 200 XP points from leveling up once again.
He returned to his room and entered the bathroom. It was very wide. Plus, it had something that Whittaker really loved.
A bathtub, very wide and seemingly comfortable. The bathtub had many options. Whittaker could bathe in high-quality milk that whittens and softens the skin or use high-ranked honey to moisturize his skin but he wasn't so wasteful.
Filling it up with warm yet rose-scented water, he took a dip inside. After scrubbing his body and cleaning himself, he stepped out of the bathtub that was bigger than a swimming pool in size. Dressing in fresh and high-quality Wind Empire traditional clothes, Whittaker was ready for the training to begin.
"It is already Sunday so Elder Zachary should start his training!" Whittaker thought while waiting for Elder Sister Nina to notify him about the start of the training.
It didn't take long before his mana com started vibrating and a musical tone reached his ears. Picking it up, he activated it and a holographic screen opened up, showcasing Nina's message.
"Little brother, Elder Zachary is waiting for you at the training ground. Hurry up and come before he decides to sleep!"
Whittaker instantly sprang up from the bed, jumping towards the yellowish magical rune degin on the left wall.
By using his master card, he activated it and a gateway to the practice ground opened up.
After walking through the spatial gateway, Whittaker appeared in the wonderful practice ground where Elder Zachary was already waiting. Whittaker wondered where Nina is.
She was preparing brunch for her Little handsome. Elder Zachary didn't like to eat more than two times a day, after all.
He was sitting in his usual wheelchair but held a slick stick in his hand. When Whittaker gazed at it, he gulped his saliva in fear.
[Thunder sparking stick (F-rank)
Description: A training stick that has been by Elder Zachary's master to train him in the art of inscribing magical rune designs.
System's Rating: S. It's a very sadistic weapon.
Effect: On impact, creates tiny sparks of thunder that explode to produce a painful and tingling sensation in the target]
Whittaker's footstep reversed as he was ready to go back to his room through the spatial gateway that still hasn't closed. Elder Zachary was facing in the direction opposite to him, so he believed that he haven't been noticed by him.
He calculated the many possible ways that this stick could be used, in the end, he realized that this stick might very well be used on his hand if he made a mistake while inscribing magical rune designs.
"I am not good at drawing so I am sure to get hit! I will return another day after mastering the way of inscribing magical runes design!"
Whittaker internally thought; however before he could enter the spatial gateway, it closed letting him only eat the mortal dust.
"Since you have come then why go away? Come sit, let's begin our training!" Elder Zachary's voice resounded in his ear. Even though Elder Zachary wasn't looking at him, he still noticed his arrival because of the change in mana flow.
Left with no choice but to face the upcoming training, Whittaker went ahead and sat on the meditation sofa prepared especially for him.
At that moment, Elder Zachary turned his wheelchair around to face Whittaker.
They were both surrounded by greenery and calm wind fluttered their long and wavy hairs.
"Let's start. First, I will explain to you about rune designs!" Elder Zachary said to Whittaker, who was cautiously gazing at the stick in the Elder's hand.
