Chapter 871: Chapter 871:- Flying Ship City

"Your Majesty, you're the Emperor of this Great Empire. Yet, we barely see you sitting on the throne. You're in your office every time we see you."

"Hahaha!!!"

"From the beginning, I have realized that sitting on the throne isn't my thing." Sitting on the throne wasn't his thing. Aditya's way of doing things is way different.

Unlike other Emperors who sit on their grand golden thrones with a glass of wine in hand, flanked by maids serving them fruits and snacks while officials and ministers present their problems one by one, Aditya had managed to handle all of that in much less time-right from his office.

"Besides, working from my office is far more productive since it allows me to get things done quicker." There is no need for all the officials, ministers, and audiences to come in front of the Emperor. This traditional method is too time-consuming for someone like Aditya.

Even when nobles came to visit him, Aditya met them in the living room of the old castle in the middle of Azure City.

"Alright! We are done for today. You all can take the day off."

Aditya's words made everyone smile. All the officials behind Spencer cheered.

Aditya watched with an amused smile as all the officials hurriedly left the office after repeatedly thanking him.

Meanwhile, Spencer was silently gathering all the documents.

"What about me?" Spencer asked in a hopeful tone.

"You? You're staying with me."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously!!"

Sigh....!!

Spencer sighed out loud. Before this, he had already imagined himself returning home early today and spending the rest of the day with Aria.

These days, he and Aria worked really hard to give me a life. Though it wasn't easy, both of them loved it.

'It looks like my plan to surprise Aria won't happen today.'

Aditya observed Spencer's reaction for some time before he laughed.

"I am joking! You can also leave." This was one of those rare days when they had nothing else to do. There was no work, so everyone could take the day off.

"Thanks, Boss!!" Spencer said with a big bright smile.

"Boss? That's new!"

"It's not wrong, though!!" The Emperor nodded his head.

"But it feels strange. Don't use it again."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He was about to leave with his documents when Aditya's words stopped him. "Ask sister Paige to give you a few stamina-enhancing Pills. That way, you will last longer."

Hmph!!!

"I have the body of a dragon. I don't need to rely on stamina-enhancing pills to satisfy my wife." But in reality, Spencer was a little worried. While she is gentle outside of the bedroom, inside their bedroom, Aria becomes a semen-thirsty Demon.

"Don't worry!! Sister Paige is a very simple person. She won't think much if you ask for some stamina-enhancing pills."

"Just give her some reasonable excuses.'

Spencer simply nodded before quickly leaving.

"For once, I get to spend the whole day with my wives." He was about to stand up when Percy knocked on his door.

"What is it, Percy?" He wasn't expecting the dwarf blacksmith in his office.

For some reason, he looked super excited.

'It's kind of worrying seeing him this excited.'

"Your Majesty, I have an awesome idea."

He quickly spread a scroll on his table.

On the scroll, there was a rogue sketch of at least 20 flying ships in the sky. All the flying ships were very close to each other. And there were wooden bridges connecting each flying ship with the other. Each flying ship had multiple wooden bridges that connected with other flying ships. These bridges connected every single flying ship with one another, effectively forming one big organism.

Aditya found it impossible to remain composed after grasping Percy's vision.

"This is the next generation of Flying ships."

"Percy, first calm down and sit!!" Aditya also wanted to take a few minutes to continue looking at this rogue sketch on the scroll.

Percy sat down, but his excitement did not diminish. He managed to hold himself for a few minutes until Aditya was done.

"How did you even get this idea?"

"Your Majesty, your ideas have redefined the usages of flying ships. Your idea gave us flying ships from desert ships."

"At first, flying ships were meant to be used for the military. And then you thought of using future generations of flying ships as big prisons for criminals."

"What I have done is merely extend that vision of yours."

"Since making the 6th generation of flying ships, I have been thinking, what if instead of making one giant Flying Ship, we created connected many of flying ships into one big

organism."

"What you're suggesting is basically a floating City." Aditya completed Percy's words.

"Exactly!!" The dwarf excitedly nodded his head.

"And if you add runes, this entire organism could become a hidden floating military Base, or this could become a City where people live. In short, this concept can be used in many ways to benefit the Istarin Empire."

"It's not a bad idea! But I feel like this whole mega structure should have the ability to move in any direction it wants without needing each flying ship to separate."

"This is easy! All flying ships have the ability to move individually."

"I will just need to make one single control room. This control room will decide which

direction the whole structure will go." Percy nodded his head.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but this entire concept might not be that useful."

"We do not have any enemies in the six continents. Even the sects and factions from the Main Continent won't dare to attack our Empire since I am here." This means that even if this concept was successfully brought to reality, it wouldn't give them any immediate benefit.

As for building a floating city, Aditya did not think it would be this useful. After all, the Istarin Empire is one gigantic Empire with a territory spanning two continents. If a city is getting overcrowded, then it can always be expanded, or new cities can always be built.

Hearing this, Percy became disappointed. The bright smile on his face quickly disappeared.

"But that doesn't mean we should abandon this idea." Hearing this, his eyes lit up like an excited child.

"I won't mind having a floating military base or a floating City for my empire," Aditya said

with a smile.

"But we will have to improve this initial concept. I can already see some glaring problems in

this concept."

"For example, there aren't enough bridges. There should be more bridges. Each ship has to be big enough for at least 1,000 people to comfortably live in it. I will also need to give incentives to encourage people to live in the floating city." Without giving any benefits other than some rich people, no one is going to move to live there.

"Then we will continue to add improvements." Percy was not afraid of challenges. The benefit of being in this Empire is that the Emperor never discouraged him from innovating.

"Alright! You can start working. If you need any help, don't hesitate to come to me."

"Alright!" Percy was relieved and also excited that the Emperor gave him the green light to continue working on this project.

"By the way, can you start working on Third generation Solar Cannons?" These Solar cannons were one of the key points that allowed them to destroy the air force (consisting of flying mounts and soldiers) of the Dune Sovereignty Empire.

Aditya wanted solar cannons that could fire powerful shots much quicker than previous generations. Even an improvement of one second is huge.

Facing 5th orders, even a one-second difference could make a huge difference.

"I am already working on trying to improve the solar Cannons. I promise to show some results within the next few months." It was difficult to improve something that was already this good. But Percy did not want to let Aditya down, and he also wanted to challenge himself.

Scene Change

"I am finally done with my work!!" The Dragon Monarch was heading towards the garden when he met Riya in the corridor. She had just come out of her bedroom.

"Oh, Riya?" "When did you return?" She was in the central region, trying her best to restore everything.

"Aditya, come with me. We need to talk." She said with a very serious look. Though she

looked serious inside, she was really happy to spend some time alone with Aditya. She merely used the pretext of needing a serious conversation to take him somewhere private. "Where are we going?" She was holding his hand.

"We are going to the Celestial Terrain." That way, no one would be able to find them easily

and interrupt their time together.

Hearing this, Aditya teleported both of them to the teleportation array.

"Is it about Aunt Amelia?" Around the same time, the teleportation array circles lit up.

"Yeah!!" This matter cannot be ignored.

When teleporting to the capital city of the Elven Empire, the city thing they noticed was a coward looking at something. There were guards trying to keep the situation calm and move the coward away, but the coward was just too big.

"What's happening?" Seeing that the Goddess of Nature was here, everyone suddenly became

silent.

They obediently stepped aside, making a path for the Goddess and her partner.

As the coward stepped aside, she and Aditya noticed nine dead bodies of elves lying on the

ground. An immediately noticeable thing was their missing ears, which seemed to have been

cut off.

Really Thank you very much to all those who send support with valuable golden tickets. I hope we can keep it up!!!
