Chapter 103 Real.
"Another puny human trying to challenge me? You came at the wrong time. I'm done playing," The demon said as he lifted his foot and moved it above Elena.
The demon stomped on the ground, and it launched Sasha up into the air, but then Amaryllis caught her. Sasha was surprised there was someone near her, but it gave her a bit of relief since there was at least someone who was still alive.
The demon slowly lifted his foot and checked if he had managed to kill Elena, but since the damage was too much he couldn't tell. He had a feeling that he didn't kill her, suddenly he saw rubbles moving under his foot and that was when he saw Elena come out of the rubbles unscathed.
"That was fun. It's my turn now," Elena said as she jumped high enough to reach the demon's stomach. "I haven't fought someone your size, and I'm eager to see you fly," Elena kicked the demon and sent the demon back to the sea.
The demon fell into the sea and created a giant splash of water that was bigger than the previous tsunami. It was coming to the land quickly and it was impossible for them to avoid that, and whoever that still survived might die from drowning.
Sasha was dumbfounded with her eyes and mouth wide open when she witnessed Elena's power. She couldn't believe there was someone that strong enough to basically send a mountain flying. She then snapped back to reality as she saw the water coming toward her.
"You should leave me. I'll be fine..." Sasha said as she stood on her own two feet, but then suddenly she fell because she couldn't move the bottom half of her body.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you," Amaryllis said with a gentle smile.
Amaryllis reached out her left hand and the water suddenly split in between her, preventing the water from hitting them. Sasha looked at the water moving right next to her, and she could touch the water with her fingertips. Amaryllis didn't create a barrier, she manipulated the water and moved it on her will.
Sasha looked at Amaryllis staying by her side, and she had never seen her before, but she looked beautiful and Sasha admired her beauty. She wondered if Amaryllis was a character from the novel or if she was a real human being.
"Oh, I almost forgot. It's nice to finally be able to meet you in person," Amaryllis said as she smiled gently at Sasha. "You don't have to worry. You will be safe as long as I'm in here with you," Amaryllis continued.
"Do I know you?" Sasha asked with her eyebrows furrowed.
"You should know, It's thanks to you that I'm here right now," Amaryllis answered as she looked Sasha in the eye.
Sasha was confused, but she felt like she knew what Amaryllis meant, and she wondered what it was.
"Anyway, it will be over soon, look," Amaryllis said as she looked at the sky.
Sasha looked up to see what Amaryllis saw, but she couldn't tell what Amaryllis was staring at. She then saw a thin gold mist in the sky that almost looked like a golden rainbow. She wondered what it was, but the mist kept getting wider and wider, and she didn't see Elena anywhere.
The demon slowly stood up, and when he looked at the sky, he saw that gold rainbow in the sky. It looked so beautiful that he was mesmerized by it, but then he shook his head and ignored it. The moment he looked away, Elena appeared right above the gold rainbow.
"I really want to play with you a little bit longer, but I don't have time for that," Elena said as she dove down and spun around.
The demon looked up and saw the gold mist descending as Elena flew down toward him. Elena threw an axe kick right on top of the demon's head, and when he tried to block it, the gold mist blocked his hands and broke them. It felt like he was being crushed by a whole planet from above, and he realized that it was over for him.
"How can a human possess such power?!" The demon asked as his wrists, arms, and shoulders folded like paper.
"Because I'm not a human," Elena answered as she sent her life energy down to crush the demon.
It happened so fast that Sasha couldn't catch up with what was just happening. In the blink of an eye, the demon disappeared into thin air, but then the shockwave that Elena had created finally came out. The shockwave itself moved at a hypersonic speed, flattened everything even the mountains, and hills, and even pushed the water from the sea.
Elena landed in the middle of a vast land that was supposed to be the Arctic Ocean. She looked around and saw the ocean still getting pushed away, and she realized that she had created more mess than the demon himself.
It was the first time Sasha had felt fear of dying because of how massive and terrifying the shockwave was. She thought that she was going to die, but Amaryllis protected her with her life on the line. She saw Amaryllis' body covered in wounds and lost both her arms and one leg from the impact.
"That almost killed both of us," Amaryllis said as she kept standing tall, ignoring the wounds all over her body.
"Are you okay?!" Sasha asked as she stood up and carefully held Amaryllis. "Please lay down. I'll find Eun Soo to heal your wounds!" Sasha said with a worried and panicked expression.
Amaryllis looked at how genuine Sasha's worries were, and she was happy because of that.
"It's unnecessary. I can heal myself," Amaryllis said as she showed Sasha how she could regenerate her own body.
Sasha was dumbfounded as she looked at Amaryllis' body healing itself, just like the demon. She then realized that Amaryllis wasn't a human, and finally realized who Amaryllis was.
"You're a character from the novel. You're not a real person," Sasha said as she stared Amaryllis in the eye.
"I wouldn't say myself as a character, but yes, I came from the novel, just like everyone else," Amaryllis answered with a gentle smile. "But that's quite harsh to say that I'm not real. We are here, and we are real enough, don't you think?" Amaryllis asked as she tilted her head.
Before Sasha could say anything, Elena landed right next to them, and she looked at them with a curious look.
"It's time to leave, Amaryllis. Mykel is waiting," Elena said.
"You should apologize to Mykel for the mess you just created," Amaryllis said as she looked around and saw the mess.
"I know. Let's just leave before some annoying eyes know we are here," Elena said and dragged Amaryllis away from Sasha.

"Wait!" Sasha shouted as she looked at both of them. "I want to know everything!" Sasha continued. "How did you manage to come here?" Sasha asked. "Where's Mykel? Can I see him?" Sasha kept asking.
They both looked at Sasha and realized that she had suffered a lot and wanted someone to be by her side. Her eyes were enough to tell that she was lonely, scared, and anxious which made both of them pity her. But, neither of them could say anything to her because they knew if Mykel didn't want to see her in person, he didn't want to tell her anything for a reason.
Sasha looked at both of them with tears glimmering in her eyes as if she was looking at the only hope that she had left. Suddenly her head hurt and put down to her knees as she groaned in pain and held her head tightly. She started to scream as she put her head on the ground, and she sounded in pain which confused Elena.
"It's severe..." Amaryllis said.
"Can you do anything?" Elena asked as she glanced at Amaryllis.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"No. I barely dodged a bullet after finding out about the truth. I can't interfere more than this or I will endanger myself to an unnecessary threat," Amaryllis answered.
"Rather than giving her false hope, I suggest that we should avoid being near her again. It's as Mykel said that she was brought to life for a reason, and seeing her getting punished for being around us is enough to tell that we should stay away from her," Amaryllis explained.
Elena nodded in agreement and then both of them warped away, leaving Sasha on her own, in pain.
Sasha managed to get rid of the pain in her head and slowly crawled toward where Elena and Amaryllis were. But when she looked up, they both had disappeared and immediately tears fell to her chin. It was painful for her to be left alone, but she knew that she couldn't be with them since she was warned by both Lucifer and Raphael through pain.
"Mykel... I want to see you..." Sasha sobbed as she held Mykel's suit so tightly. "I miss you so much..." Sasha said to herself as she lay down in a fetal position and then fell asleep.
