Chapter 319 – Cultivator and Troubles Inside a Cave

The female Cultivators hurled their fireworks at Aiko, who was still free-falling.

"Wait! She has the Storage Pouch!" The snobbish male Cultivator screamed. He was worried that they would destroy those boots and they would be unable to explore this area.

Aiko activated her Moon Divine Ability for the first time in a long time.

[Moon's Crust] a semi-transparent barrier that protected Aiko. This Divine Ability formed a barrier that looked like the surface of the Moon.

It had quite a few craters and other features, but the main feature of this Divine Ability was the fact that the defence got stronger the more you assaulted a single place.

It worked by compression the barrier closer to the body with each hit, so it did have a limit where the barrier would not cover your body and another limit was against too fast projectiles with high penetrative components.

It was not the best defence Ability against sword Cultivators, but as for fireworks.

*Ding Ding Ding*

Aiko listened to the fireworks bouncing away from her barrier. The barrier did get closer to her, but the rate was slowing down over time, that was thanks to the increased defence for hits into the same place.

Aiko hummed happily as she stuck out her tongue. This enraged the female Cultivators, but the snobbish male Cultivator was observing her closely.

Aiko wondered what was wrong with him, but since she was approaching the ground; she needed to fish out those boots from the Storage Pouch!

Aiko searched through it. There was a lot of unnecessary stuff, like female clothing and undies. Some were even highly detailed!

There were also low-grade Pills and tools, none of which Aiko fancied.

She searched and searched, until she finally found those boots that she needed in order to survive the place to where she was falling.

Those boots were bigger than Aiko's feet, so she would have to tie them securely in order to survive inside that hole.

Aiko nodded closely as she wrapped numerous strings around the boots to press them against her feet.

With this she should be alright even if they sway a bit, since her main driving force would be the double jump and acrobatics.

Aiko looked up to check out the situation since she was too focused on the boots and to her shock. The somewhat handsome black haired cultivator was near her.

Aiko slightly panicked from his speed and used a double jump to steer away from him in mid-air. Like this, she would also get closer to the middle hole that she was aiming for.

Aiko nodded her head happily, now he shouldn't be able to follo-

"How are you still following me?!" Aiko yelped when she noticed that the Human Cultivator was riding a sword.

"And how are you able to do that?!" Aiko glared at him.

The snobbish Cultivator laughed. "There might be a no-flight zone in this Secret Realm, but it can be bypassed, little thief." He was approaching the little Fox that stole his Storage Pouch.

"Oh..." Aiko nodded like she didn't care about him. "By the way, what are you going to do about that?" She pointed behind him.

"You won't be able to sway me to look away." The snobbish male Cultivator would not look back and lose sight of her, who knows what kind of other strange skills this little Fox had!

"Well, that is fine by me, at least there will be less Cultivators bothering me." Aiko smiled happily. She held no remorse towards them, this was their life and since they chose to waste it...

"You can't make me turn around!" The snobbish male Cultivator had a bad premonition and flinched. Someone was talking to him and he immediately turned around to see his female companions falling to their death.

"Fuck!" He cursed openly and a rock brushed past him. The male Cultivator turned around to look at the little thief, since that rock was dangerous.

"Now do your best~!" Aiko shouted happily as she was holding rocks, ready to throw them. She was not that far from the hole, but she should be able to throw a few of them at him.

"FUCK!" The snobbish Cultivator cursed and abandoned the flying sword with quite a forceful jump.

Aiko was speechless at his speed and tilted her head. 'Why did he not use that to approach me?' This was way faster than what he had previously demonstrated.

'Aha, he is chasing the pussy.' Aiko nodded at him and threw 3 rocks towards his direction before vanishing into the hole.

He barely dodged it and glared back, but the little thief was nowhere to be found.

Aiko was falling into the hole, it was larger than she expected, but now was also a good idea to see if she can refresh her double jump with these boots.

She swirled in the air and approached the nearby wall. She tried to gently touch it with her boots and to her shock, it really froze over!

Aiko was delighted at this, since she would be able to refresh her double jump and break her fall!

The stench was even worse inside than outside, possibly because she was approaching the source, the thing that she dumped out of her tails.

Aiko was not too happy about this, but in order to explore this place, sacrifices had to be made!

She used the double jump to break the fall, but she didn't dare to approach the black liquid. It felt disgusting and smelled even worse.

Aiko used her acrobatic skills with her double jump in order to traverse this place on the walls. She did not forget to throw rocks behind her to shatter the ice, so that none other could follow her!

This place was quite complex and Aiko had to map it out. The whole cave system was around 70-80% submerged in that liquid, but that was only thanks to the fact that the cave was very narrow the deeper you went.

Aiko did not find any enemies along the way. It felt like this whole place was deserted, but she couldn't blame them. The stench was so bad that it was drinking her crazy! She would have to wash up after this exploration or she would be scolded by Mei!

Her [Tails Storage] was also getting smaller, all thanks to the putrid stench, which made Aiko upset.

She would have to create plenty of Storage Rings in the future, just in case something similar happened to her!

Aiko nodded to herself. She kept jumping around with her double jump, depleting her Stamina, but unlike when she was chased by the Human Cultivators, she didn't need to dodge around.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Preservation of Stamina was essential and she would have to work on it in the future. She also should craft a shield that would tank the hits for her, since Aiko couldn't bother dodging all the small fireworks.

With that plan in mind, she finally arrived at a large cave opening.

The cave was huge and once Aiko landed she froze an area of around 1.5m around her.

She looked around. While this cave was huge, something else was even bigger...

'Ew... What a disgustingly huge spider...' Aiko shivered. She didn't want to approach it.

She knew that it was dead and there would be no danger from it, but that didn't mean she liked to approach spiders!

'I don't want toooooo.' Aiko cried in her mind, but at the same time, she could feel that strange tempting feeling from behind the corpse.

'Do I need to move it?' Aiko tilted her head. She didn't know what to do with this situation. She really didn't want to touch it.

'It should be fine, right?' Aiko tilted her head.

She walked near the corpse and around it, unfortunately, the spider's huge ass was in the way, so she would have to move it somehow...

'I don't want to.' Aiko flatly said in her mind, but that feeling was too tempting to pass out on!

Aiko shook her head and steeled her resolve. She grabbed the spider's leg in order to pull it away.

*Crack*

The spider's leg fell apart and Aiko winced. "Ewwwwwwwwwww." Her body shivered from that sound and movement.

Aiko thought about it for some time and decided on her next plan.

"Alright, since your fat ass won't move, then I will move the earth!" Aiko proclaimed as she set up a [Digging Site].

She would just go around the huge ass by digging through earth!

Aiko panted harshly. She had to dig quite deep to bypass that ass, but at the same time, she was worried. Will she be able to reach the end? Won't anything bad happen?

Aiko shook her head and set up [Digging Site] for the last time. Her inventory was filled with that putrid polluted dirt and she kept throwing it out in the other part of the cave. That way, her current digging spot would stay clean.

Aiko touched the last part in order to store it in her inventory and as she did it, some kind of white liquid spilled on her!

She dodged it to the best of her abilities, but some still got on her clothes.

"Ewwwwwwwwwww." Aiko whined again. She really didn't want to deal with this shit.

"Eh???" Aiko suddenly noticed that she could not move. The white liquid hardened, that was a spider’s silk!

"..." Aiko blinked a few times. It should be good material, but how is she supposed to get out of this situation...?

Aiko wiggled her way out of her clothes, since she didn't want to transform and lose those boots, that would be a disaster!

She was able to somewhat lose those clothes and walk around nude. The clothes itself were fine, she just had to peel them off of that sticky liquid.

'But how am I supposed to store this inside my tails...' Aiko sighed as she was dressing up. It would take her a while, since she couldn't sit down, but it was better than walking around nude or with a kimono.

Aiko decided that instead of her [Tails Storage] she would use her Storage Rings. That way even if they become filthy, she could just melt them down and be done with it, but it would be a pain in the ass if more of that sticky liquid got into her tails!

Aiko sighed while shrugging. It would take a while to gather all of this, but it should be doable. While she didn't have a proper Spacial Ring, she got quite a number of Storage Rings!

With this, she should be able to store most of it and then give it to either Mei or that Clothier or whatever his name was.

Aiko decided to give him a name later, so that she didn't need to think about it.
