Knowing this as well, Xuan Hao could not help smiling at the two girls as he greeted them and told them to continue what they were doing before he had shown up. Earning a rather surprised look from both of them before being replaced by one of understanding.

Both of them understood that this was a subtle way for their master to assess their current progress in alchemy.
