Chapter 3318 - That's a Person

As Greensource began rumbling, its inhabitants quaked in fear. At the same time, however, they felt their blood boiling. Their emperor had been waiting a long time for this moment.

Before the nova source mist that surrounded the world even stirred, a glowing spot approached the vacuum at high speed! Yumo Xue and the other youths felt pricked in the eyes by the sheer brilliance of the glow. The twenty-odd eminents there also noticed the spot.

"What’s that?"

"I don't know!"

"Is it coming toward us?"

They couldn't really tell what it was and watched with suspicion. The next moment, all of them—including Eminent Baigui—began panicking.

"It's so fast!"

"It’s a person!"

The eminents couldn't quite see who it was. It was something that was out of their comprehension. It would be surprising enough for a backwater mundus to have a foundationeer as a rex mundi, but never could they possibly have someone that could make eminents like them feel threatened! If it wasn’t for the cries of shock ringing out around them, none of them would believe what they were seeing.

Eminent Baigui snapped out of his shock and his eyes widened. "Stop him!"

Right as he said that, the flash of light was directly in front of him. The eminents of House Yumo saw the star-like existence. Eminent Baigui felt his heart skip a beat at the subconscious feeling of this being's cosmic artifact.

Myriadpath Valley is where the strongest of the strong gather! No mundus can possibly have someone that can threaten even our reverends, let alone me! However, Eminent Baigui soon noticed that the being flew past him and the other eminents. He turned back and shrieked, "Protect the vacuum!"

But it was too late. After the Hellfiend had activated its vacuum, it’d morphed into a ring-shaped divine astralship that was much larger than its usual form. However, the ring shape was rather fragile, especially when it contained the combined force of the ten nova sources necessary to generate its vacuum. It had no power left for a defensive formation and was completely exposed!

In a mere instant, a gigantic black-and-gold sword projection extended from the figure, taking the form of a pitch-black sword-shaped stele. The figure shot toward the vacuum at high speed.

Eminent Baigui uncontrollably shrieked. Even the other eminents were frozen and dumbfounded, still struggling to comprehend what was happening, let alone the youths that were tagging along. Everything was happening so fast that the smiles of excitement had yet to fade from their faces.

Time seemed to slow down as they watched the terrifying force of nature. The gigantic sword-shaped stele glowed with imperial glory as it spun once before cleaving into the ring-shaped ship!

There was a resounding explosion that could be seen from a vast distance. Countless rooms and corridors collapsed as the black-and-gold sword-ki-infused stele broke the Hellfiend’s ring, shattering it into countless pieces. The shards left behind from the destruction scattered into the void, followed by the bright explosions of nova sources. The stars that had powered the ship caused internal explosions even though the stele hadn’t touched them at all.

The entire astralship erupted into hellish flames.

As the ring was no longer able to contain the power of the vacuum, nova source uncontrollably poured out. If it wasn’t for Eminent Baigui's desperate efforts to contain it, the entire vacuum formation would have swallowed up the Hellfiend itself.

Even so, the vacuum formation had been stopped and peace returned to Greensource, save for the slightly stirred layer of green clouds. Every inhabitant of the world had witnessed the event through the omnisentient threads and cheered, their combined voices washing over the eminents of House Yumo like a storm of wills.

The fact that they felt such a strong, unified hateful intent meant that everyone there knew what House Yumo had been about to do. It was completely incomprehensible to the specters there and the youths among them had no idea what was going on. Even Eminent Yinyue gaped with utter shock and horror at the impossible events. Everything that’d happened had completely shattered their imaginations!

They had thought that they were performing a simple task, like breathing. None of them had expected to see the Hellfiend so badly damaged. But even though the vacuum formation had temporarily stopped, the figure with the sword-shaped stele continued charging toward the broken parts of the astralship, intent on causing even more damage!

"Everyone, drop what you're doing and stop him!" Eminent Baigui tried to calm the panic and roared as he underwent his skyghoul transformation. He turned into a white-haired fiend that resembled Yumo Lingyue's transformed form, fully unleashing the power of a tenth-level foundationeer. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

The other eighteen eminents reacted the same way. All of them had two eyes and six irises. Being physically gifted specters, they boasted great speed in the void of space. All of them had baleful auras that were each fueled by the combined suffering of more than ten trillion lives.

Eminent Yinyue was the closest to the brilliant figure, who was just about to attack the spot where she was.
