Back For My Daughter

In the Sunflower Kindergarten senior class, the atmosphere had turned somewhat sad after a little girl said she would soon leave with her father to go somewhere else.

And of course, after hearing this, her friends were the ones who were disheartened by the news.

Even if this wasn't sure information and no one knew when it might happen, the thought of not seeing their friend who they had been playing, studying, eating and having so much fun with won't be with them after a while turned them sad.

"Qiqi, you should meet us even if you leave with your dad, ok, or we will beat you after I find you."

One of the little girls said with a pout on her lips but she had tears in her eyes.

Their class teacher Wu Ying, who wanted to intervene with what the little girl had said didn't know what to say, although this sounded like a threat, there wasn't any real intention of harm.

"Hehe, ok ok, Qiqi will get your punches if Qiqi doesn't come to meet all her friends."

The threatened little girl giggled, knowing well that there was no way that her friends would harm her, and that this was just a friendly warning.

"Okay, don't cry now you all, Qiqi still doesn't know when she will leave, so don't get sad, it might take a few years as well."

Wu Ying clapped her hand, getting the attention of the little girls who were holding each other's hands.

"Ahh, yes, that can be, Qiqi also doesn't know when Papa will take Qiqi there."

The little girl nodded with a pondering expression on her face while her hands subconsciously folded on her chest and she scratched her chin.

Although it was true that her Papa had said that he would bring everyone to the other world, he hadn't told her exactly how long it would take.

Meanwhile, realising that there was a possibility that their friend won't be leaving anytime soon, the other little ones nodded at their teacher's words.

After a moment, one of the little boys from the class reached to their teacher and asked while pulling her finger.

"Teacher Wu, why didn't you come that day?"

Hearing the boy's question, every little head in the class turned to their teacher with the same look as if wanting to know the answer.

Many had thought that she might have gotten sick, but there were also some who thought that their teacher might have gone on a trip with her family.

But of course, being kids they didn't know that if a teacher had a plan in her personal life they needed to inform the school beforehand and they would get the leave, only in urgent situations like sickness or family matters would be they given urgent leave.

"About that, it's not personal so I don't think it will matter if I tell you the reason behind it."

Wu Ying said before looking at all the children who were eagerly waiting for her answer.

"So, it just happened that my cousin brother had his leg broken that day and I had also come to the school but had to go after receiving a call from my family."

Wu Ying smiled wryly, she could see the sympathy these little ones were showing towards her cousin, but she knew well that if they knew how he truly was, then they won't even feel anything about him and in fact would even say that he deserved it.

The kids looked at each other, their faces filled with shock, after playing and falling and falling, they would get scratched and knew how much it hurt, but their teacher's cousin had his leg broken, they just couldn't imagine how much it might have hurt.

"Teacher, did he hit a car or a bike?"

A little girl asked in worry.

A few kids protested while others were frowning, clearly understanding that their teacher's cousin wasn't a nice guy.

This time the reaction of the kids was completely different from how they had reacted after hearing that their teacher's cousin had his leg broken.

A boy muttered, making everyone in the class turn to him.

'At least my useless cousin came to some use for these kids.'
