Chapter 1272: Old Man Wang Might Begin Cultivation
In Dr Lang's office.
Ye Qian laughed out.
"I am really honoured to be thought of such by Dr Lang himself."
"But Mr Ye's method of stopping your heartbeat and pulse is something that I am yet not able to wrap my mind around," Dr Lang laughed dryly.
He had been thinking about this method that Ye Qian had used to make him and even everyone else that day believe that he had really died.
In fact, if Ye Qian had not stood up, they had already thought of sending the devastating news of his death to his family.
But to everyone's delight, they didn't need to, removing a huge weight from their souls.
Seeing the old doctor was still thinking about it, Ye Qian didn't know if he should laugh or cry, "Well, as I said that day, Dr Lang, it's just a simple practice of getting control over your body, I think you might have heard of the practice where one is consciously able to control their muscles."
"Hmm," the old doctor nodded.
"It's almost similar to that, just a bit more advanced."
"Since the function of our heart is just to pump blood throughout our body, once we are able to carefully control our body to use a minimum of this oxygenated blood and sometimes we even make it stop since there is enough oxygen in it to last for a minute or two."
"To say it in simple words, it's akin to hibernation."
"Ohhh," Dr Lang nodded before he turned to the pot of tea from which steam was coming out along with a soothing aroma of flowers.
"Ohh, the tea is also ready. I hope young people like Mr Ye don't feel peculiar of this old man's taste."
Saying that he poured some tea into a small ceramic cup.
As he poured the tea, the aroma of the tea wafted through the noses of the others present, making them raise their brows.
'What kind of tea is this, just its smell is so refreshing, although I am not a tea guy, but this surely hits a thing.'
Bo thought as he raised his brows seeing Dr Lang hand him and his colleague a cup before pouring one for himself and for Ye Qian and handing him.
"Dr Lang must be joking, the leaves picked from the freshest branches of the oldest tea plants growing just close to the volcanoes definitely have a unique taste thanks to the dew present on them."
Ye Qian chuckled as he sipped on his cup of tea.
Hearing Ye Qian's words, the old man who had just started to bring his cup near his lips was astonished as he stared at Ye Qian with a blank look on his face.
"Mr Ye knows of the tea?"
What Ye Qian had described was the perfect way for the tea plants from which these tea leaves were extracted.
In fact, there were just about a thousand such plants in the whole of their country, each yielding barely 50 kilos of tea leaves by the time they were dried.
One had to know that just 50 kilos of tea leaves production of this variety made it extremely rare and the reason why even he could get them was thanks to his fortunate encounter with someone when he was young.
But even then, the maximum amount of leaves he would get would not exceed more than a hundred grams.
In fact, the price of this tea ranges from a few hundred thousand to a million just for those hundred grams, making it a highly expensive gift, something that he would get every year.
Even he would not use it more than once a week, and just as his student would call him, he wouldn't even share it if the mayor came to meet him.
"The smell of the volcanic ash and the dew drops is definitely not something I cannot differentiate," Ye Qian chuckled.
"Mr Ye's senses are just too much to be described with words."
Dr Lang chuckled dryly, he recalled that day when they were at Wang Jin's mansion and Ye Qian has said that he had sensed poison in his breakfast.
At first, he might have thought that Ye Qian could only differentiate the smell of herbs and poison which were mostly used in medicine.
But after hearing his words now, Dr Lang doubted if there was even anything that this fellow's nose couldn't sense.
Meanwhile, Bo and his friend were simply enjoying the tea, not giving a thought to the conversation of the two.
For them, the talk between the two was not as important as to relish this experience.
"I am not sure if young Mr Wang contacted you, but I have been checking on his father's condition since the day you removed the poison from his body."
"And I am shocked to say that his condition only seems to be getting better, in fact, it's much better than what it was even before he had been inflicted with the poison."
Dr Lang said after finishing his tea and placing the cup.
"Well, it wasn't just the poison that was removed from his body that day, some other impurities that had been accumulating within his body all this long were also removed, albeit not all."
Ye Qian said, making it more acceptable.
Of course, he was well aware as to why Old Wang was feeling like this.
Since his body had been nourished with Spiritual Essence Qi, which was the purest form of Spiritual Qi, it had somewhat stimulated his body to be more accustomed to Spiritual Qi.
Since there was abundant Spiritual Qi around the mansion, with Ye Qian's refined Spiritual Qi still lingering in his body, it acted as a small magnet, attracting the Spiritual Qi around him.
Spiritual Qi was the best source of energy as well as vitality was living beings, giving them strength, and vigour and at the same time helping nourish the entire body, making him feel a decade or more younger than he actually was.
In fact, Ye Qian might not even be shocked if Old Man Wang were to gain some cultivation if he were to continue living at the mountain for a long time, thereby even increasing his lifespan by at least 20 years.
