Chapter 42 Son of destiny luck at work
---
"Am back, who missed me?" a voice was heard in the room, and the demons and Linkir tied up felt their bodies shaking. The liquid was flowing again, and they reacted just from the voice alone. This was lust, a powerful element.
"What... what do you gain by this?" Linkir questioned. Her body soon relaxed after saying this, as if she used all her strength to speak. Her mind was racing, thinking of how embarrassed she looked. Although she was suppressing the thought, she wondered what Void would do when he saw her like this.
A blush crept onto her face, and Junnie smiled when she saw this. Linkir looked down at the ground as the footsteps she heard came closer. Each step made her heartbeat quicken.
Junnie used her finger to raise Linkir's chin up. "Beautiful," Junnie commented, looking at the delicate face. Her smile was charming, and Linkir inadvertently got carried away. Junnie's finger slid down from her chin, reaching the middle of her chest, squeezing through the two soft mounds, and then to her stomach. Linkir breathed heavily, feeling anxious, her body reacting.
Just as it stopped at her lower abdomen, a guard knocked.
Linkir breathed a sigh of relief, but deep inside, she felt disappointed. The pleasure she felt before was the best feeling she'd ever experienced.
"Come in," Junnie said with a frown.
"My Empress, a peak rank 1 demon named Void is here to see you," the guard said with his head bowed.
"Oh really, it seems your master is here to see you," Junnie said, a smile slowly returning to her face.
"Tell him to enter," Junnie replied while walking to her seat.
"Yes, Empress," the demon bowed and left.
Some moments later, Void entered.
"So this is what you've been up to," Void said directly to Linkir, looking at her tied up, her body shaking from the earlier pleasure, and the liquid flowing—the scent of a female in heat.
"Master..." Linkir called softly, her expression shaking. She was still too weak and had to remain Void's slave for a while longer.
"Let's go," Void said, walking toward Linkir, intending to free her.
"Ignoring me? You are brave," Junnie commented, appearing in front of Void. Her eyes were cold, and her aura was about to be unleashed. Void stopped and looked at her.
"System, are you sure?" Void asked.
(Positive)
Void smiled hearing this. "I know you are not from this Abyss," Void said, and the temperature dropped. Junnie's gaze was deadly. Void knew he was walking a tightrope; this was a huge secret.
"Don't try to touch me, or else you are dead. I am the son of the Abyss, the Abyss is watching me. The moment you attack me, she will know you are not part of us," Void threatened with a smirk. The room went quiet, and Linkir watched in confusion, not understanding what they were talking about.
"Hmph," Void heard a snort and realized that the Junnie in front of him was an afterimage. Junnie had disappeared, and the entire castle turned into ashes. Every demon was killed except for Void and Linkir. Their bodies turned to dust, and the wind blew them away.
A 7,000-mile-deep hole remained where the castle once stood.
"Fuck," Void thought, his mouth open. He would've been dead if he hadn't said the second part. She had already moved, and he hadn't even noticed.
But Void calmed himself, regaining composure. After all, the gap between Rank 2 and Rank 1 was beyond comprehension.
"Let's go," Void said as he untied Linkir. Linkir nodded, her breath uneven. She tried to walk but collapsed.
"Sigh," Void sighed in annoyance and picked her up in his arms. His wings spread out, revealing the infinity symbol as he jumped into the air and flew away.
"System, damn you almost killed me," Void complained in anger.
(I just told you what I knew, Host. You are the one who decides what to do with it.)
Hearing the system's argument, Void fell silent. The system was right; Void did make a mistake, but he was glad his bluff had worked. Given another chance, he would still take the same gamble.
Maybe because Junnie was a fallen angel and not a full primordial demon, she had an odd way of picking on Void like a bully.
"Low IQ," Void commented with a grin.
*******
Some meters above Void, Junnie was weighing her options, thinking about what Void had said. Should she kill him now, knowing his claim was likely a bluff, or wait and see?
Now she was exposed. How had Void known? She had no idea, and even if she killed Void, how could she be sure he hadn't told anyone else?
Just as she was about to leave, she heard Void muttering and calling her "low IQ."
Junnie's expression became frosty, and she prepared to attack.
*******
At the back of a ruined castle, in the shadows, stood a figure speaking to a 10-meter-tall plate.
"I'm sorry, Master, I failed. The Abyss knows about me now," Junnie said in pain.
"You are not to blame. I encountered a bug that escaped. It caused me some trouble," Asmodeous replied.
"What should I do now, Master?" Junnie asked, her voice trembling with fear.
"Don't worry, since you are a fellow demon, you will be fine. Surrender," Asmodeous answered, and the communication ended.
"Yes, Master," Junnie replied and walked out, her body covered in injuries. She held a demon's heart in her right hand, squeezing it in anger.

### **At the Sixth Layer of Space...**
A figure of immense size could be seen, holding the lower half of a being in its right hand.
"I hate titans," Asmodeous muttered, irritation evident in his voice. His expression soured—now the seal on his power was going to last even longer. He wished he had killed that Titan, but his sealed power allowed the creature to escape.
"Next time, you won't be so lucky," he vowed before disappearing.
### **In Another Universe...**
A rift opened from the sixth layer of space, and the upper half of a being emerged. Golden blood, reminiscent of the gods, flowed from it as the being crashed into a planet.
*Boom.*
A massive hole formed at the planet's center. All life on the planet was wiped out, and it slowly became uninhabitable. The upper half of a Titan had caused this destruction.
"I messed up big time... who would've thought I'd run into an Original Sin sealed there? I just need to... sleep," the Titan's voice trailed off as it lost strength.
---
A portal opened, revealing a figure. A monkey and a wave of magma appeared through it.
"Oh?" Sun Wukong landed on the ground, looking around in confusion. Just a moment ago, he had been swimming in magma in the Abyss, and now he found himself here.
The clouds were gray, and the planet was tinted red. There was no life, and a massive "mountain" stretching for dozens of miles loomed in front of him.
"What planet is this?" Sun Wukong asked himself, shrinking his staff and placing it in his ear.
"Well, let's explore. Maybe I'll find some creatures to fight!" he grinned and leaped into the sky.
But as he surpassed the "mountain," he realized that it was no mountain at all—it was the finger of a giant being.
"What kind of being is this?" Sun Wukong asked, astonished. Even Buddha wasn't this large, and the being's finger alone was bigger than Buddha. The aura emanating from it made Sun Wukong's body shiver with fear.
"No!" Sun Wukong gasped as a massive gravitational force pulled him down. He fell, his body pressed to the giant finger.
"Hmph, just a dead body," Sun Wukong grunted in frustration. His muscles bulged as he struggled to stand. After multiple attempts, he finally rose to his feet, breathing heavily. Each step was an agonizing effort as he advanced across the being's colossal form.
---
**Time passed: minutes, hours, days.**
Sun Wukong had no idea how long he had been walking, but he didn't stop. His body was continuously forged through the ordeal, and he broke through to the supreme realm. There was a scent in the air, a soul so powerful that it strengthened his body with just its presence. The fact that he had reached the supreme realm from just a whiff spoke volumes about the strength of the soul.
At last, he reached the being's head, where the soul floated above. The soul was so powerful that it hadn't disappeared, and Sun Wukong realized that no reincarnation space, hell, or heaven could hold this soul.
The soul was colossal—yet incomplete. Half of it was missing.
Without realizing it, Sun Wukong's sanity was suppressed, and he began devouring the soul one bite at a time. His body absorbed the power, and he soon broke through to Rank 2.
"Where is it?" Sun Wukong asked, noticing that the soul had vanished. His body had undergone a dramatic transformation, now towering at 125 meters in height. His lean body emanated a tremendous pressure, and his tail, once soft, could now harden to a level beyond diamond.
Sun Wukong frowned. He had only consumed less than 1% of the soul.
"So, you're the one," a voice echoed in his mind, causing him to leap in shock.
"Who's that? Show yourself now!" Sun Wukong demanded, snorting angrily.
"I'm the soul you swallowed," the voice replied, sending a chill down Sun Wukong's spine.
"You're lucky I wasn't fully asleep, or you'd be dead. I helped you store the rest of the soul. Besides, I can't let you devour all of it," the voice continued.
"Hmph, I'll devour everything," Sun Wukong retorted like a child fighting over a piece of candy.
"Relax, how about half and half?" the voice offered with a chuckle.
"Still everything... but for now, okay," Sun Wukong reluctantly agreed, scratching his head. Even with his pride, he knew how powerful this being was. Though he didn't know the exact rank, just 1% of the soul had pushed him to Rank 2.
"What an interesting monkey..." the voice commented before fading back into sleep.
"Hey, wait! Hello! Hey!" Sun Wukong called out, but no one answered.
He could sense the soul still slowly flowing into his body, making him stronger. The process was slow, but it was enough. A grin spread across his face.
"Well, what about the body?" Sun Wukong wondered. What should he do with it? Demons only needed souls—he had no use for the body.
"Good luck to whoever finds it," he shrugged before flying into the sky.
---
**Somewhere on the planet...**
A tiny portal appeared, and through it, two stunning beauties emerged with glamorous, ethereal bodies.
"Disciple, we've stumbled upon a great surprise," the first beauty said, looking down from the sky.
The second beauty frowned, trying to figure out what the surprise was.
"The body of a Rank 4 being! We're lucky to find it. You're my lucky charm!" the first beauty giggled, while her disciple stepped back in horror.
"R-Rank 4!" the second beauty stammered in shock, while the first beauty smiled in amusement at her disciple's astonishment.
