Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 131

131 Confrontation

Elisa had a grim look on her face when she spoke.

Meanwhile, Serena was confused. She stared at Raphael and after a few seconds, she moved her gaze to Elisa.

“Serena, do you mind!” Elisa’s voice rang out again, and this time around it was an icy tone.

While Serena was completely dumbfounded that Elisa could raise her voice, she took light steps toward the door. And as she got to it, she couldn’t help but take one more glance at Elisa before then leaving the room.

As Serena left the room, Elisa took a few steps until she was standing in front of Raphael.

Raphael had a bewildered look on his face, his eyes were glued to Elisa and even though he didn’t move from where he was, he was prepared for any sort of event that might occur.

“Raphael,” Elisa mumbled.

“Raphael,” She called out again.

Heaving a deep breath, Elisa then said, “Is there something going on between you and Serena?”

.....

Raphael’s eyes twitched from hearing that question Elisa had just asked. He didn’t respond immediately, he was about to reply when Elisa’s voice rang out.

“I want you to please be completely honest with me... Is there something between the both of you, and should I be scared of losing you?”

“Yes, there’s something between the both of us,” Raphael replied.

“Serena is a client to me, and also a friend of mine, so there’s something between the both of us,” Raphael said. “As for, whether or not you should be scared, I don’t really know.”

“It depends on you.”

When Elisa had heard the first part of Raphael’s words, her mouth opened so wide that a duck egg would fit inside.

There was shock written all over their face, and even though Melinda had told her to prepare for the worse, it still came as a terror to her. However, when she heard his following words, the uneasiness reduced.

“What do you mean, it depends on me,” Elisa muttered.

“Okay, let me put it this way. Do you have feelings for Serena, and have you ever had any impure thoughts toward her?” Elisa asked.

And before Raphael would respond, she followed up with, “I want you to be completely honest with me, Raphael.”

A nod came from Raphael when he heard Elisa. He placed his hand on his chin, and after a few seconds, he said.

“I don’t have feelings for Serena if that’s what you want to know,” Raphael said.

Elisa couldn’t help but be relieved when she heard Raphael. She didn’t think he would be lying to her, and a smile was about to form on her face when Raphael spoke.

Elisa’s expression went from pleased to horrified.

“But, I have once had impure thoughts on her.”

Those were the words that left Raphael’s lips.

The words were already mighty to Elisa, and what caused her to be worried was Raphael didn’t bait an eye when he told her.

Raphael didn’t seem to be bothered that he was telling someone whom he was engaged with that he had impure thoughts towards another woman.

Elisa staggered for a bit, before regaining her composure. “You mean, you have thought of making a move on her,” Elisa spoke in a very soft voice.

Gus, who was on the bed, let out a long hiss a second after Elisa spoke.

Gus was no expert on relationships, but as someone who spent a good amount of time reading romantic books, it urged Raphael to shut the hell up.

Raphael, however, shrugged his shoulder, the look on his face saying, ‘She wanted complete honesty, and here it is.’ He soon moved his gaze to Elisa and said.

“For a matter of fact, I have,” Raphael said.

With her hands clenched into a fist, Elisa bit her lower lips. She had words to say, but it was proving difficult to let them out.

“Are you alright?” Raphael asked.

“I’m fine. I asked you to be completely honest, and that’s what you do.” Elisa said. “It’s just hurtful that you have thought of another woman that way when the both of us are together.”

This time around, it was Raphael that was speechless.

“Is Serena the only one, or have you had this thought on others too?” Elisa blurted.

Raphael was perhaps the bluntest person, Elisa was going to meet, and he was about to respond to her when Elisa’s voice rang out.

“What does this mean for us, Raphael? I know this might seem selfish, even though you told me this was nothing but an adventure you want to experience.”

“But, I want something serious with you. I want the only impure thought you have to be towards me. Not Serena, but me... Only me.” Elisa said.

Elisa took a step closer to Raphael, leaving only a few inches away from the both of them.

“Is that going to be possible, Raphael?”

Raphael shook his head after Elisa spoke. “I think you’re missing the point, here, Elisa.”

“The question you should ask yourself is, who am I with?” Raphael said. “While I might have impure thoughts towards her, the fact that I’m with you means that I chose you.”

“I didn’t choose to have this experience with Serena, instead it was you... And if you’re going too way in on this matter, without putting this into consideration, then I think we have to reevaluate where things stand between us.”

With his hand folded across his chest, Raphael spoke in a decisive tone.

Elisa’s mouth opened slightly and her eyes twitched. She moved a bit closer to Raphael, wrapping her hand around him, she hugged him tightly.

“I-I didn’t think about that.” She said in a soft voice.

A light smile appeared on Raphael’s face. He then raised Elisa by the chin. Staring into her brown eyes, Raphael couldn’t help but pluck her cherry lips.

Elisa didn’t respond to the kiss immediately, but after a few seconds, her lips began moving. She held on to Raphael’s clothes tightly, savoring in the taste of the delightful taste of his lips.

His lips were soft and warm, and as Elisa’s mouth parted slightly, Raphael’s tongue slipped inside.

Raphael placed his hand gently on her thigh, raising it gently and as if Elisa could read his mind, she leaped gently, wrapping both legs around his waist.

“Uh.”

A low moan soon escaped Elisa’s mouth.

With their bodies pressed together heatedly, Raphael and Elisa gasped heavily. Their heart raced as they could taste the shared breath between the both of them.

Suddenly, Raphael separated his lips from Elisa, he stared at the owl on the bed, understanding what the gaze was, Gus snorted and then flew out of the room.

A chuckle escaped Elisa’s lips. She wrapped her hand around Raphael’s neck and was about to continue with the kiss when she felt Raphael moving closer to the bed.
